近年、高速通信技術のひとつである既設の電話回線網を使用したADSLの普及がめざましい。ADSLとは、Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Lineであり、他に、SDSL(Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line),VDSL(Very High Speed Digital Subscriber Line)などもあり、それらを総称して、xDSL或いはDSLと言われ、既設の電話回線網を使用した高速データ通信技術である。

上記ADSLは、音声信号(〜4kHz)とデータ信号(4kHz〜)の使用周波数帯域が異なるため、同時使用を可能としており、データ信号のスピードは下り:〜8Mbit/sec.,上り:〜1Mbit/sec.とアナログ,ISDNに比べ高速なデータ通信を可能としている。

本発明は、xDSLのデータ信号と音声信号を分離/混合するPOTSスプリッタにおいて、前記POTSスプリッタにおけるローパスフィルタ回路は、回線側より順に、2ラインにそれぞれ第1のインダクタンスL1,L1’、ライン間の第1の線間コンデーサC1、ラインそれぞれに第2のインダクタンスL2,L2’、ライン間の第2の線間コンデーサC2、そして電話機側へと構成するものであって、前記2段構成のLC回路に並列接続する、2ライン上にそれぞれ第3のインダクタンスLr,Lr’と抵抗Rr,Rr’が直列接続し、前記インダクタンスLr,Lr’と抵抗Rr,Rr’の間に、ライン間を結ぶ線間コンデンサCrを設けてなる補正回路部を有するPOTSスプリッタである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図を用いて本発明実施の形態を説明する。図1は、本発明のPOTSスプリッタの略回路図である。なお、データ信号を通過させるハイパスフィルタの図示は省略してある。本発明のPOTSスプリッタのローパスフィルタ回路は、回線側より順に、2ラインにそれぞれ第1のインダクタンスL1,L1’、ライン間の第1の線間コンデーサC1で1段目のLCフィルタ回路を構成し、ラインそれぞれに第2のインダクタンスL2,L2’、ライン間の第2の線間コンデーサC2により2段目のLCフィルタ回路を構成し、xDSLにおける音声信号のみを通過させる。

また、音声信号帯域のリターンロスの改善を目的する回路を、前記2段のLC回路に並列接続する。その構成は図1に示すように、回線側より順にラインにそれぞれ第3のインダクタンスLr,Lr’、前記2つのインダクタンスLr,Lr’に直列接続する抵抗Rr,Rr’、そして前記インダクタンスLr,Lr’と抵抗Rr,Rr’間の線間コンデンサCrからなる回路である。

本発明は上述の通り、従来技術の回路構成に比べ、部品点数の削減がはかれた。また、図1の回路構成は、ADSL加入者宅端末用POTSスプリッタのみに説明したが、通信事業者局内用POTSスプリッタにも適用できるのであり、特に限定するものでなくローパスフィルタ回路の構成として使用できるものである。

以上説明の通り、本発明によりPOTSスプリッタにおける部品点数の削減が図れ、低価格,小型化が可能なPOTSスプリッタの提供を可能とした。
