2. Description of the Related Art If sugars can be coated on plastics, glass, paper, fibers and metals, the biodegradability of biodegradable plastics can be controlled, and microorganisms, viruses, proteins, etc. Nucleosides, nucleotides and nucleic acids can be selectively adsorbed and purified, which is considered to be an important elemental technology. However, even if sugar is directly applied to the surface of a substrate such as plastic, glass, metal, paper, or fiber, the sugar easily peels off from the surface of these substrates or dissolves in water, so it is necessary. I was not able to fully demonstrate the function.

The polymerizable sugar ester monomer preferably used in the present invention is one in which the secondary alcohol in the sugar residue S 1 is directly bonded to the ester group. Since this monomer has not been modified with the highly reactive primary hydroxyl group in the sugar residue S 1, it is possible to modify the unreacted primary hydroxyl group with a functional substituent after coating. Also,
It is known that fucose having no primary hydroxyl group interacts with a specific lectin. Thus, the introduction of an ester substituent into a specific secondary hydroxyl group in a sugar compound is an important elemental technology. The second coating agent of the present invention contains the sugar ester polymer represented by the general formula (2) as a main component. Examples of R 1 and S 1 in the general formula (2) are the same as those described in the general formula (1). It is also preferable to add a solvent to this second coating agent. The molecular weight of the sugar ester polymer is not particularly limited, but the molecular weight is 1,000 to 1,000,000. The polymerizable sugar ester polymer preferably used in the present invention is one in which the secondary alcohol and the ester group in the sugar residue S 1 are directly bonded. [Biodegradability of coated polylactic acid of Example 1 (1)] Degradation characteristics of the coated polylactic acid obtained in Example 1 (1) by microorganisms of the genus Saccharothrix were examined. First, using an automatic bio-oxygen demand measuring device manufactured by Okura Electric Co., Ltd., a soil having a relatively low enzyme absorption was selected. The selected soil is sterilized and put in a measuring container of 200 g each, and Saccharothricus spp.
After planting the 9114 strain, 100 mg of the coated polylactic acid film obtained in Example 1 (1) was added, and the mixture was cultured at 25 ° C. for 1 month. The weight loss of the film was measured and biodegradability was evaluated. The results are shown in Table 2.
As shown in Table 2, it can be seen that the polylactic acid coated with the first coating agent has remarkably improved biodegradability as compared with the polylactic acid film not coated.

A surface plasmon resonance biosensor manufactured by Japan Laser Electronics Co., Ltd. and coated with 2-O-vinyl adipoyl fucose-divinyl adipic acid copolymer or 4-O-vinyl adipoyl rhamnose-divinyl adipic acid copolymer. The interaction of heroic chrysanthemum lectin with vapor-deposited glass was investigated. Heroic Chawan Takelectin was injected while flowing a 0.2 M phosphate buffer at a rate of 25 μC and a flow rate of 5 μL. The results are shown in Table 5. As shown in Table 5, both interact with proteins, but 2-O-

[Evaluation of Bacterial Adsorption Using the Coated Paper and Coated Rubber] A coated paper of 10 cm × 10 cm was produced from the coated paper obtained above, and 5 sheets of each coated paper were used to prepare 100 ml of bacterial culture (E. coli, 500 ml containing the number of bacteria 2 x 10 4 / ml)
It was placed in a volumetric flask and shaken. Then, the coated paper was taken out, the number of bacteria in this solution was measured, and the adsorption rate was measured from the decreased number of bacteria. The results are shown in Table 6. In addition,
The results are average values of 10 samples for coated paper and 8 samples for uncoated paper. From Table 6 it can be seen that the coated paper has a much higher bacterial adsorption rate than the uncoated paper. In addition, a coating rubber of 5 cm × 5 cm was produced from the coating rubber obtained above, and 5 sheets each of the coating rubber were placed in a 500 ml flask containing 100 ml of a bacterial culture solution (Escherichia coli, number of bacteria 2 × 10 4 / ml). And then shaken. After 60 minutes, the coating rubber was taken out and the number of bacteria in this solution was measured. As a result, it was 2.3 × 10 3 / ml, and the adsorption rate on the coating rubber was 88.5%.

[Purification of pullulanase using the above polymer-coated polyethylene terephthalate fiber]
0.25mg protein / ml pullulanase crude enzyme solution 100
The solution was dissolved in acetic acid buffer having a pH of 5 in 5 ml, and 5 g of the polymer-coated fiber obtained above was dipped and stirred at 5 ° C. for 1 hour. The coated fiber was pulled up and immersed at 5 ° C. in 100 ml of a 0.1 M glucose aqueous solution as a pullulanase release solution. As a result, 0.13 mg of protein / ml could be recovered. Further, the pullulanase activity of the crude enzyme solution and the purified enzyme solution was determined using pullulan as a substrate,
It was measured by adding a crude enzyme solution or a purified pullulanase solution under the condition of an acetate buffer (0.1 N, pH 6.0) at 30 ° C. and performing an enzyme reaction for 30 minutes. The activity was determined by quantifying maltotriose produced by the Somogene Nelson method, and the enzyme activity was defined as 1 U for the amount of enzyme that produces 1 μmol of reducing sugar for 1 minute. The results are shown in Table 7. As shown in Table 7, it is understood that the crude enzyme solution of this polymer-coated paper can be purified 27 times by a single purification.
