On the other hand, conventionally, a one-pack type epoxy adhesive has been used. In the one-pack type epoxy adhesive, a main agent and a curing agent are mixed in advance, and by heating this, a crosslinking reaction between the main agent and the curing agent proceeds to obtain an adhesive cured product. The higher the bonding temperature, the higher the cross-linking density of the cured adhesive, and thus the higher the glass transition temperature, which is an index of the temperature at which the cured adhesive can maintain sufficient adhesive strength. Tends to have a higher elastic modulus. As a result, there is an advantage that the adhesive strength at high temperature is high.

However, the one-pack type epoxy adhesive usually needs to be heated to an adhesion temperature of 120 ° C. or higher. During the cooling process from the bonding temperature to room temperature, thermal stress is generated in the bonded portion due to the difference in linear expansion coefficient between the front part of the radome and the ring. The mode of thermal stress depends on the structure of the bonded portion, and the tensile stress is the main mode in the radome for flying objects. As the material of the front part of the radome, for example, fused silica, which is excellent in thermal shock resistance, is often used. However, although fused silica is excellent in thermal shock resistance, it does not have high tensile strength, so that there is a problem that the front part of the radome cracks when a large tensile stress is applied during such a cooling process.

Further, the storage temperature of the radome for projectiles is -40 ° C to 60 in consideration of the temperature in the extremely cold region to the extremely hot region.
There are two degrees Celsius. In extremely cold regions, the radome for air vehicles will be further cooled to the storage temperature. This large temperature difference between the bonding temperature and the storage temperature makes the thermal stress due to the difference in linear expansion coefficient between the front part of the radome and the ring even greater. Therefore, there is a problem that the front part of the radome is more frequently broken. In view of this, conversely, it is inappropriate to lower the adhesion temperature because the one-component type epoxy adhesive has a curing reaction initiation temperature and thus has a limit. Further, when a one-pack type epoxy adhesive having a low curing reaction initiation temperature is used, the glass transition temperature is low and the adhesive strength at high temperature becomes insufficient.

The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and provides an epoxy-based adhesive having excellent adhesive strength at high temperatures and reducing the occurrence of thermal stress at low temperatures. Further, in a radome for a flying object that bonds the front part of the radome to the ring, sufficient bonding strength is secured even when the bonding part becomes hot due to aerodynamic heating during operation of the flying object, and a manufacturing process for the flying object radome. And, a radome for a flying object is provided in which the front part of the radome is prevented from being cracked due to thermal stress generated during storage.

First, the aliphatic polyamine compound and the polyamidoamine compound react with a part of the epoxy resin having three epoxy groups and a part of the epoxy resin having four epoxy groups at a relatively low temperature. This is called the first curing reaction, and the cured adhesive obtained has 3
There are unreacted parts of the epoxy resin having 4 epoxy groups and the epoxy resin having 4 epoxy groups. From the viewpoint of epoxy equivalent, the amount of the epoxy resin is excessive with respect to the amounts of the aliphatic polyamine compound and the polyamidoamine compound, and thus such unreacted parts are generated.

In general, the more epoxy groups the epoxy resin has, the slower the progress of the curing reaction. This is because the structure of the epoxy resin becomes three-dimensional and it becomes difficult to obtain an opportunity for reaction between the epoxy group and the amine. In this embodiment, since the epoxy resin having 3 to 4 epoxy groups is used, the progress of the curing reaction is slower than in the case of using the epoxy resin having 2 epoxy groups, and the unreacted portion is large. Prone. The unreacted portion of the epoxy group or amine plays a role of an internal relaxation agent against thermal stress, and therefore has a great advantage of relaxing stress generated during storage in a severe cold region. The first curing reaction is preferably carried out at 15 to 60 ° C., which is suitable for the aliphatic polyamine compound and the polyamidoamine compound to function as a cross-linking agent. -30 ° C is more desirable.

Further, at a temperature higher than the first curing reaction, the curing accelerator reacts with the epoxy resin having three epoxy groups and the unreacted portion of the epoxy resin having four epoxy groups. This will be referred to as the second curing reaction, and the obtained cured adhesive will be cured further. The second curing reaction is 150 to 20 which is suitable for the curing accelerator such as imidazole to function as a crosslinking agent.
It is desirable to carry out at 0 ° C.

The two-pack type epoxy adhesive used by mixing such a base material and a curing agent is suitable for securing high adhesive strength at high temperature when the second curing reaction is carried out. This is because the main agent contains an epoxy resin having 3 to 4 epoxy groups inside, and therefore an adhesive having a high cross-linking density as compared with a bisphenol A type epoxy resin having two epoxy groups and a small number of reactive groups. A cured product is easily obtained.
The high crosslink density of the cured adhesive material means that the glass transition temperature, which is an index of the temperature at which the cured adhesive material can maintain sufficient adhesive strength, becomes high, and the elastic modulus of the cured adhesive material at high temperatures is high. It means that

The epoxy adhesive in this embodiment can be used as follows. First, the radome front part 1 of the flying object radome 4 and the ring 2 are bonded at a bonding temperature near room temperature of 15 to 30 ° C. At this time, most of the aliphatic polyamine-based compound and the polyamidoamine-based compound function as a crosslinking agent, and the cured product of the adhesive has a curing degree of 60.
%. If this degree of curing is obtained, the adhesive strength at room temperature and at lower temperatures is sufficient. Furthermore, the temperature difference between the bonding temperature and the storage temperature is relatively small, and the thermal stress generated can be relaxed. Therefore, even if the radome 4 for a flying vehicle is stored at -40 ° C in a severe cold region, the thermal stress generated is relatively small, and the radome front part 1
Can be prevented from cracking. Subsequently, during operation of the flying object, the temperature rise due to aerodynamic heating causes most of the unreacted aliphatic polyamine compound and polyamide amine compound to function as a cross-linking agent, and the curing of the adhesive proceeds. Further, at a high temperature of more than 150 ° C., a curing accelerator such as imidazole functions as a cross-linking agent to further cure the adhesive, and the cured product of the adhesive at this time has a degree of curing of more than 95%. Therefore, the cross-linking density of the cured product of the adhesive is increased, and sufficient adhesive strength can be obtained even at a high temperature exceeding 200 ° C. The degree of curing here is determined from the amount of heat of curing reaction heat using a differential scanning calorimeter.

The epoxy adhesive may also be used as follows. First, the radome front part 1 of the flying object radome 4 and the ring 2 are bonded at a bonding temperature near room temperature of 15 to 30 ° C. After that, when it is heated at 50 to 60 ° C., which is near the upper limit of the storage temperature of the radome for projectiles in the extremely hot area, additional curing proceeds. At this time, most of the aliphatic polyamine-based compound and the polyamidoamine-based compound function as a cross-linking agent, and the cured product of the adhesive has a curing degree of 80 to
It is about 85%. If the storage area of the flying radome is not a severe cold area, the radome front part 1 will not be cracked even if such additional curing proceeds. That is, in an extremely hot area, there is no problem even if curing of the adhesive cured product progresses during storage of the flying radome. Subsequently, during operation of the flying object, a curing accelerator such as imidazole functions as a crosslinking agent at a high temperature of more than 150 ° C. due to aerodynamic heating. That is, the curing reaction of the adhesive further progresses, and the cured degree of the cured adhesive at this time exceeds 95%. Therefore, the cross-linking density of the cured product of the adhesive is increased, and sufficient adhesive strength can be obtained even at a high temperature exceeding 200 ° C. As described above, there is no problem even when used in a severe heat region.

Further, the total content of the epoxy resin having three epoxy groups and the epoxy resin having four epoxy groups contained in the main component is preferably 40 to 70% by weight. In this case, the content of the inorganic filler contained in the main agent is 30 to 60% by weight. If the total content of these epoxy resins is less than 40% by weight, the cross-linking density of the cured adhesive will be low due to the volume hindrance of the inorganic filler, resulting in insufficient adhesive strength at high temperatures. On the other hand, if the total content of these epoxy resins exceeds 70% by weight, the volumetric shrinkage rate of the adhesive during the curing reaction increases, and the linear expansion coefficient of the cured product of the adhesive also increases. When the volumetric shrinkage rate of the adhesive increases, the cured product of the adhesive is distorted by internal stress, which causes a decrease in the adhesive strength. If the coefficient of linear expansion of the cured product of the adhesive becomes large, it may cause cracks in the front part of the radome when the radome for a flying object is stored, for example, in a severe cold region.

Further, the content of the aliphatic polyamine compound contained in the curing agent is preferably 10 to 26% by weight. The aliphatic polyamine compound is a curing agent having a good curing reactivity at a relatively low temperature of 15 to 60 ° C., and is used for the purpose of imparting rigidity to the obtained cured adhesive product. If the content is less than 10% by weight, the cured product of the adhesive tends to have insufficient rigidity, and the adhesive strength at high temperature may be insufficient. If the content exceeds 26% by weight, the cured product of the adhesive tends to become brittle though it has high rigidity, and may cause cracks in the front part of the radome when the radome for projectile is stored, for example, in a severe cold region.

The content of the polyamidoamine compound contained in the curing agent is preferably 60 to 76% by weight. The polyamidoamine compound is a curing agent having a good curing reactivity at a relatively low temperature of 15 to 60 ° C., and is used for the purpose of imparting impact resistance and water resistance to the obtained cured adhesive product. If the content is less than 60% by weight, the impact resistance of the cured product of the adhesive tends to be insufficient, which may cause cracks in the front part of the radome when the radome for a flying object is stored, for example, in a severe cold region.
If the content exceeds 76% by weight, the cured product of the adhesive has excellent impact resistance, but the rigidity tends to be insufficient, and the adhesive strength at high temperature may be insufficient.

The curing accelerator contained in the curing agent is for further promoting the curing reaction of the cured adhesive product during aerodynamic heating, and its content is preferably 4 to 5.5% by weight. If the content is less than 4% by weight, the curing accelerating effect is insufficient and it is 5.5.
When the content is more than weight%, the amount of the curing accelerator that does not contribute to the curing reaction increases. As a result, the mechanical properties such as the elastic modulus of the cured adhesive are reduced during aerodynamic heating, and the adhesive strength becomes insufficient.

The inorganic filler contained in the curing agent is for adjusting the viscosity for admixture of the adhesive and proper workability of coating, and the content is preferably 5 to 10% by weight. 5% by weight
If the amount is less than the above, the viscosity of the adhesive when the main agent and the curing agent are mixed is low, and the adhesive may flow at the time of applying the adhesive, so that the adhesive may not be applied to an appropriate place. Content is 10
If the content is more than weight%, the viscosity of the adhesive becomes too high, which may make the coating operation difficult.

Further, using an aluminum plate (A2024T-3) having a length of 100 mm, a width of 25 mm and a thickness of 1.6 mm,
An adhesive strength test piece was obtained using the same adhesive and curing conditions as above. Using this test piece, an adhesion peeling test was performed based on JIS-K-6850, and a shear adhesive strength at 200 ° C. of 2.3 MPa was obtained. This is a sufficient adhesive strength in a radome for a flying object. Further, a cured product plate having a thickness of 1 mm obtained under the same adhesive and curing conditions as above is additionally cured at 200 ° C., and then -100 ° C. by a viscoelasticity measuring device.
Tensile viscoelastic properties were measured up to 250 ° C. as a result,
The tensile storage elastic modulus at 200 ° C. was 220 MPa, and the glass transition temperature was 174 ° C. Relatively good results were also obtained from the viewpoint of the glass transition temperature and the high temperature elastic modulus, which are indicators of high temperature adhesive strength.

Example 2. The components contained in the main agent and the curing agent are the same as in Example 1, and the content is changed for the purpose of further relieving the thermal stress during low temperature storage. The main ingredient is tetraglycidyl diaminodiphenylmethane (YH-434)
22% by weight, triglycidyl-P-aminophenol (Sumiepo ELM-100) 28% by weight, aluminum powder (AC-500) 50% by weight were mixed, and triethylenetetramine (manufactured by Sumitomo Seika) 20% by weight as a curing agent. %, Polyamidoamine-based compound (versamide 140) 67% by weight, imidazole (manufactured by Shikoku Kasei) 5% by weight, silicon oxide fine powder (Aerosil # 300) 8% by weight, and mixed in the same manner as in Example 1. A base compound and a curing agent were obtained. As a result of the analysis, the polyamidoamine-based compound contained 2% by weight of triethylenetetramine, and 2% by weight of piperazine of N, N-diaminoethylpiperazine and N- (N-aminoethyl) aminoethylpiperazine. The aliphatic polyamine compound is 24% by weight, and the polyamidoamine compound is 63% by weight. Next, after mixing 100 parts by weight of the main component and 26 parts by weight of the curing agent in a mixing ratio and performing defoaming treatment, using this adhesive, an adhesion temperature of 25 ° C. and an adhesion time of 7
The radome front part 1 and the ring 2 were bonded under the condition of 2 hours. As in Example 1, neither cracking of the front part of the radome in the low temperature test nor peeling of the adhesive in the high temperature test was observed, which was good. Further, the shear adhesive strength at 200 ° C. was 2.1 MPa, which was a sufficient adhesive strength for the radome for flying objects. The tensile viscoelastic properties measured in the same manner as in Example 1 were relatively good, with a tensile storage elastic modulus at 200 ° C. of 200 MPa and a glass transition temperature of 165 ° C. From this result, it can be used without problems even if the contents of the main component and the curing agent are changed.

Example 3. This is an example in which the radome for a flying object obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 was additionally cured, assuming storage in a severely hot area. After mixing 100 parts by weight of the main agent described in Example 1 and 26 parts by weight of the curing agent described in Example 1 and performing defoaming treatment, this adhesive was used to bond at a bonding temperature of 2
The radome front part 1 and the ring 2 were bonded under the conditions of 5 ° C. and a bonding time of 72 hours. Further, the cured adhesive was additionally cured under the conditions of an adhesion temperature of 60 ° C. and an adhesion time of 72 hours. No low temperature test was performed in this example. In the same high temperature test as in Example 1, no peeling of the adhesive was observed and good results were obtained. Also, the shear adhesive strength at 200 ° C is 2.6M.
Pa and sufficient adhesion strength were obtained in the radome for flying objects. Regarding the tensile viscoelastic properties, the tensile storage elastic modulus at 200 ° C. was 240 MPa and the glass transition temperature was 186 ° C., which was even better than in Example 1. From this result, it can be used without problems even if it is supposed to be stored in a severe heat area.

Comparative Example. In this example, a one-pack type epoxy adhesive was used instead of the two-pack type epoxy adhesive in Example 1. Scotchweld 2214HT, which is a one-pack type epoxy adhesive mainly composed of an epoxy resin having two epoxy groups and initiating a curing reaction at 120 ° C. or higher.
(Manufactured by Sumitomo 3M) was used to bond the front part of the radome to the ring under the conditions of a bonding temperature of 140 ° C. and a bonding time of 40 minutes. The radome for a flying body thus obtained was
A low temperature test was carried out by leaving it at 24 ° C. for 24 hours. At this time, cracks were observed in the front part of the radome. Since the front part of the radome was already cracked in the low temperature test, a high temperature test in which a load of 1.8 MPa was applied to the bonded part in an atmosphere of 200 ° C. was not possible. The shear adhesive strength at 200 ° C is 1.9M.
It was inferior to Examples 1 to 3 in Pa. In addition, the tensile viscoelasticity has a tensile storage elastic modulus of 100MP at 200 ℃.
a, the glass transition temperature was 150 ° C., which was inferior to Examples 1 to 3.
