2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, absorbent bodies used in absorbent articles such as disposable diapers and urine pads are mainly composed of cotton-like pulp and absorbent polymer (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as SAP). However, since a large amount of urine, sweat, and other body fluids are absorbed and retained, it can be used for a long time, and the amount of absorbent articles using such an absorber is increasing year by year.

On the other hand, in recent years, the thickness of the absorber has been reduced, and the proportion of cotton-like pulp having a large volume has been reduced to increase the proportion of SAP having a small volume and a large absorption amount. However, since SAP absorbs a large amount of body fluid but has a slow absorption rate, a thin absorber having a large proportion of SAP cannot absorb the entire amount by SAP alone when it comes in contact with a large amount of body fluid at one time. , Was causing the leak. Further, since the adhesion to the wearer's body is poor, a gap is created between the absorber and the body, which also causes a leak.

In order to solve such a problem, in JP-A-63-264971 and JP-A-3-206174, there is used a crosslinked cellulose obtained by crosslinking the inside of the fiber to improve the compression recovery property of the fiber. However, a method for improving the absorption rate is disclosed. However, in these methods, although the absorption rate of liquid is high, since the retention capacity is poor, the once absorbed body fluid returns to the top sheet, and the top sheet remains in a wet state forever, causing discomfort to the wearer. It may cause a rash when given. Further, the adherence to the wearer's body is still poor, and there is a possibility of leakage when used for a long time. Further, such a method has a problem that the cost of the product is high because the cellulose needs to be chemically treated, and the volume is large, which is disadvantageous in reducing the thickness of the absorber.

In the case of the absorbent body of the present invention, it is preferable that the compressed body is exposed from the top sheet surface at the crotch part, particularly at the body fluid discharge port, so that when the body fluid is discharged, the exposed portion releases the body fluid. It is particularly effective when the discharge speed of the body fluid is high, because it absorbs and expands to increase the degree of close contact with the outlet, and the guide function of the exposed portion diffuses and guides the body fluid into the absorbent material. In particular, in the case of a woman, the body fluid discharge port is concave, and thus the discharged body fluid often flows along the body part to cause leakage, and thus the adhesion is important. In addition, it is preferable that the exposed part of the compressed body is located in the crotch part even if it is not located at the body fluid discharge port. The exposed part absorbs the body fluid accumulated in the crotch part and diffuses it into the absorbent material. , It is effective when a large amount of body fluid is discharged at one time.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION The absorbent body of the present invention quickly diffuses into the absorbent material when body fluid is discharged, even when formed thin by the action of the compression body arranged in the absorbent material. Since it is guided, and is efficiently absorbed and held in the absorbent material, the absorbent material can be effectively used without waste, and the leakage prevention effect is excellent. In addition, the absorbent article of the present invention using such an absorber is excellent in fit without forming a gap with the skin of the wearer due to the action of the compression body even when formed into an ultrathin shape. Moreover, when the body fluid is discharged, it is quickly absorbed, so that the dry feeling of the body can be always maintained. Further, since the product before use can be made compact, it exhibits excellent effects on physical distribution cost, storage space and portability.
