【従来の技術】従来のテーブルタップは、暗闇ではプラ
グの差込口が確認し辛く、プラグの差込操作は非常に困
難であった。又、本体のある場所も解り辛く、照明の限
られた場所での取扱は非常に不便であった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明は、従来の欠点
である、暗闇での取扱に於いて、本体のある場所を解り
易くすると共に、即座に差込口が確認でき、プラグの差
込操作を容易にし、取扱上の利便性を向上させることを
課題とした。

【課題を解決するための手段】テーブルタップ本体を透
過性のある透明又は、半透明の材料で構成し、光源を内
包させることで、内部の光源から出る光を本体全体に行
き渡らせ、テーブルタップ本体と差込口を明るく発光さ
せることを考案した。

【作用】電源コンセントにつながった状況下でテーブル
タップ本体全体が光を放つ構造のため、暗闇では本体を
手探りで探す必要はなく、また、差込口も明瞭に確認出
来る為、プラグの差込操作を容易、かつ安全確実なもの
にした。さらに本体の材質、透明感を生かした色彩・形
状を工夫することにより、光るインテリアアクセサリー
的要素も併せ持つものである。

【実施例】本体の構成材料に光を透し易い透明、半透明
の材質のものを用いて、テーブルタップを作成し、その
中の適度な箇所に光源の一例としてネオン球を内包さ
せ、プラグの差込口に供給される電源を使用する為、両
極の各端子に結線し、ネオン球を常時点灯させる方法を
実施した。また、光源材料の例としてネオン球をはじ
め、発光ダイオード、電球、蛍光管、特殊発光樹脂等、
その他光源と成りうるものは特に限定はしない。

【発明の効果】本体に光源を内包させたテーブルタップ
は、光源からでる光により、明るく発光し、差込口も明
瞭に光る構造の為、その効果により、暗闇でも置き場所
が解りやすく、差込口が即座に確認でき、プラグの差込
操作が容易、かつ安全確実になった。また特に照明の限
られた屋外での使用は非常に便利になり、更にインテリ
アアクセサリー的要素も付加できより一層、利便性が向
