(57)【要約】 【課題】携帯電話に記録された音楽を再生するために
は、ケーブル等が必要になり、また接続が煩雑である。 【解決手段】携帯電話と接続可能なコネクタを備えた携
帯電話用接続装置であり、携帯電話を充電する充電回路
と、携帯電話に記録された信号を再生可能なスピーカと
を備える。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、携帯電話に接続さ
れることにより、音楽等の再生信号を再生可能な携帯電
話用接続装置に関する。

【従来の技術】近年、携帯電話は単なる電話ではなく、
電子メール送受信機能を有する情報端末として急激に進
化している。また、ＭＰ３音声圧縮技術を利用して電話
回線によって音楽をダウンロードし、携帯電話に設けら
れた半導体メモリに記録することで、イヤホンにより音
楽を再生可能な携帯電話が販売されている。
【０００３】ＭＰ３を使用することで、伝送速度の遅い
携帯電話でも楽曲を迅速にダウンロードすることが可能
となり、また少ないメモリ容量で数多くの楽曲を記憶す
ることが可能となる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】携帯電話に記録した楽
曲を家庭で聴く場合、携帯電話のイヤホンジャックと家
庭のステレオ装置を接続するか、携帯電話とパソコンを
接続する必要があるが、何れの場合においても、接続ケ
ーブルによって携帯電話とステレオ装置又はパソコンを
接続する必要があり、接続が煩雑であるという欠点を有
する。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は上述の課題を解
決するために、携帯電話を充電する充電回路と、携帯電
話に記録された信号を再生可能なスピーカとを備える。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図面に示す実施の形態にも
とづいて本発明を詳細に説明する。図１は、本発明装置
の外観図を示す。ドッキングステーション１は携帯電話
５０の底面に設けられたコネクタ（図示せず）と接続可
能なコネクタ２を有し、携帯電話５０をそのまま載せる
だけでコネクタ同士が接続される。ドッキングステーシ
ョン１の上部にはＬチェンネル、Ｒチャンネル用のスピ
ーカ３、４がそれぞれ設けられている。ドッキングステ
ーション１は携帯電話５０にＭＰ３方式で圧縮記録され
た楽曲の再生のほか、入力端子５に入力されたＣＤプレ
ーヤ等の外部接続機器からの再生信号を再生することが
可能である。
【０００７】 図２はドッキングステーション１の回路
ブロック図を示す。携帯電話５０と接続されるコネクタ
２はＩ／Ｏ制御部１１に接続されており、Ｉ／Ｏ制御部
１１によってドッキングステーション１と携帯電話５０
との間の各種信号の伝送が制御される。Ｉ／Ｏ制御部１
１には携帯電話５０に記録されたＭＰ３データをデコー
ドするためのＭＰ３デコーダ１２が接続されている。Ｍ
Ｐ３デコーダ１２によってデコードされた信号は、入力
切換回路１３を介して増幅回路１４によって増幅された
後、スピーカ３、４によって再生される。
【０００８】 ドッキングステーション１に設けられた
操作キー１５によって、再生する音楽の選択やボリウム
操作、入力切換等を行うことが可能となっている。マイ
コン１６はこの操作キー１５の操作に基づき、ドッキン
グステーション１の各種制御を行う。
【０００９】 ドッキングステーション１のＡＣ電源部
１７は充電回路１８に接続され、コネクタ２に接続され
た携帯電話５０を充電可能とされている。従って、ドッ
キングステーション１に携帯電話が接続された状態で、
携帯電話５０に記録された音楽信号の伝送と同時に携帯
電話５０の充電が行われる。
【００１０】 ドッキングステーション１を戸外で使用
することができるよう、ドッキングステーション１には
電池１９が収納可能であり、コンセントがない場所にお
いても音楽を再生可能である。また、近年の携帯電話は
小型化が進み、操作キーが小さいため、携帯電話５０の
内部に記録されている電話番号の登録作業が行いにく
い。そこで、ドッキングステーション１にキーボード３
０を接続するための端子１９を設け、キーボード３０に
よって相手の名前、電話番号等を入力することが可能と
されている。この入力時、携帯電話５０のディスプレイ
５１に入力した文字や数字が表示される。
【００１１】また、ドッキングステーション１にはマイ
ク２０が設けられており、スピーカ３、４と共に携帯電
話５０を手に持つことなくハンズフリー通話を行うこと
が可能となる。
【００１２】以上のごとく、携帯電話５０をドッキング
ステーション１に載せるだけで、携帯電話５０の充電が
行われると共に、携帯電話５０に記録された音楽データ
を再生することが可能となる。
【００１３】 また、本発明は上述の実施例に限定され
ることなく、種々の態様がとり得る。例えば、携帯電話
に記録する際に使用する圧縮技術はＭＰＥＧ３に限定さ
れることなく、他の方法であってもよい。

【発明の効果】以上のごとく、携帯電話を本発明装置に
置くだけで充電のみならず、携帯電話に記録された音楽
等の情報の再生が可能であるため、ステレオやパソコン
と接続する必要がなく、携帯電話をより有効に使用する
ことが可能となる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】携帯電話と接続可能なコネクタを備えた携
    帯電話用接続装置であり、 該携帯電話を充電する充電回路と、前記携帯電話に記録
    された信号を再生可能なスピーカとを備え、前記携帯電
    話に記録された情報を再生可能な携帯電話用接続装置。
  2. 【請求項２】前記携帯電話用接続装置はマイクを備え、
    前記スピーカとの協働によりハンズフリー通話を行うこ
    とが可能な請求項１に記載の携帯電話用接続装置。
  3. 【請求項３】前記携帯電話用接続装置はキーボードが接
    続されることにより、前記携帯電話のディスプレイを参
    照しながら前記携帯電話に情報入力を行うことが可能な
    請求項１に記載の携帯電話用接続装置。
