Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.揮発性有機化合物の放出が低減された、活性物質及び揮発性有機化合物を含 有する流体を送り出すための濃縮低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装置において、 流体内に有効成分が濃縮されている、揮発性有機化合物と有効成分を含有する 濃縮流体を貯蔵するハウジング、 1圧送行程あたり低減された噴霧量で濃縮流体を送り出すような形で揮発性有 機化合物を含有する濃縮流体と流動的連絡状態にあるスプレーポンプ、及び、 揮発性有機化合物を含有する濃縮流体と減少した1圧送行程あたりの噴霧量を 組合わせることによって、塗布表面の平方面積あたりに塗布される活性物質量が 実質的に同一にとどまる一方で、揮発性有機化合物の放出が低減されること、 を特徴とする装置。 2.従来のスプレーポンプ吐出装置には数量yの揮発性有機化合物と数量zの有 効成分を含有する数量xの流体が含まれ、従来のスプレーポンプ吐出装置が、樹 脂フラックスvでスプレーポンプの1圧送行程あたりwグラムの噴霧量で吐出が を行わされていることを特徴とする、揮発性有機化合物の放出が低減された、揮 発性有機化合物を含有する流体を送り出すための低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装 置において、 流体対揮発性有機化合物の比がx対yであり、流体対有効成分の比がせいぜい x対zである、揮発性有機化合物及び有効成分を含有する流体を貯蔵するハウジ ング、 スプレーポンプが流体を霧化し、樹脂フラックスvでスプレーポンプの1圧送 行程あたりwグラム未満の噴霧量で該流体を吐出するように、流体と流体的に連 絡しているスプレーポンプ、 によって特徴づけられ、 流体内に有効成分を提供すること、流体対揮発性有機化合物の比を一定に維持 すること、スプレーポンプの1圧送行程あたりの噴霧量を減少させること及び樹 脂フラックスを一定に維持することの組合せによって、揮発性有機化合物の放出 が低減させられる、 吐出装置。 3.流体対有効成分の比がx対zより小さいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の 低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装置。 4.1圧送行程あたりの噴霧量が、 噴霧量(D)=面積A×長さ(L) という等式によりさらに特徴づけられ、 式中、 D=各圧送行程で送り出される流体量 A=スプレーポンプのピストン面積及び L=スプレーポンプに圧力をかけるときのアクチュエータの行程長 であり、1圧送行程あたりの噴霧量が0.07グラム/行程〜0.09グラム/行 程の間にある前記請求項のいずれか1に記載の濃縮低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出 装置。 5.1圧送行程あたりの低減された噴霧量がさらに、スプレーポンプのピストン 面積を減少させること及びスプレーポンプのポンプ圧を増大させることによって 特徴づけされ、 ここでポンプ圧は、 力(F)=圧力(P)×面積(A) という等式によって定義づけられ、 式中 F=スプレーポンプを作動するのに必要な力、 P=流体を霧化しスプレーポンプ内部から流体を吐出するために生成され るポンプ圧、 A=スプレーポンプのピストン面積、 であり、 スプレーポンプが作動されたとき、濃縮流体を霧化しこれをハウジングの内部 から送り出す90psig以上のポンプ圧を有する、前記請求項のいずれか1に記載 の濃縮低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装置。 6.流体がヘヤスプレーであることを特徴とする前記請求項のいずれか1に記載 の濃縮低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装置。 7.流体の有効成分がポリマーである、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載の濃縮 低噴霧量スプレーポンプ。 8.流体の有効成分がポリマーであり、ポリマーレベルが流体重量で1%〜10 %の間、より好ましくは4%〜7%の間であること、を特徴とする前記請求項の いずれか1に記載の濃縮低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装置。 9.1圧送行程あたりの噴霧量が低減しているにもかかわらず流体の樹脂フラッ クスが実質的に一定にとどまり、樹脂フラックスが、 φ=(D・r)/((π/4)・d2) という等式により定義づけられ、 式中、 φ=樹脂フラックスであり、 D=1圧送行程あたりの噴霧量であり、0.07グラム/行程〜0.09グラム/ 行程の間にあり、 r=流体中の有効成分含有率であり、流体重量の1%〜10%の間、好ましく は4%〜7%の間にあり、 d=スプレーパターン直径であり2.9インチ〜3.5インチの間にある、 樹脂フラックスをさらなる特徴とする、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載の濃 縮低噴霧量スプレーポンプ吐出装置。
