2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in the coating of aluminum material,
A paint is used in which an amino resin such as melamine resin is blended as a curing agent with a (meth) acrylic water-based resin, and this paint is applied to aluminum sashes of ordinary houses and high-rise buildings, or anionic electrodeposition coating of building materials such as curtain walls. However, in recent years, importance has been placed on coatings having better weather resistance due to the demands of the times.

In particular, products in the field of construction materials are used under severe conditions where they are exposed to direct sunlight, wind and rain, etc. outdoors. At present, exposure to such use for a long period of time causes a deterioration phenomenon in the coating film and significantly reduces the appearance of the structure.

At present, three main types of electrodeposition coating films are glossy clear, matte clear, and colored coating. Above all, in a colored coating film, the surface unevenness of the coating film is enlarged due to the deterioration of the coating film surface, the surface gloss is reduced due to the irregular reflection, and the choking phenomenon is caused due to the falling off of the inorganic pigment component.

It is known to use a fluorine-based resin or a silicone-based resin in order to prevent the deterioration of the electrodeposition coating film (Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-62904, Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. Hei 6-336564). Publication No.), and lacks versatility due to high cost. In addition, by adding various ultraviolet absorbers, antioxidants, and light stabilizers, it is possible to improve weather resistance in a short term, but since the addition system is used, it does not constitute a coating film. The bleeding phenomenon occurred with the passage of time, and the effect gradually decreased, and it was not possible to maintain an excellent appearance.

[0006] In order to supplement these with a coating film composition, a two-coating electrode coating is performed by first electrodepositing a coating layer having poor weather resistance and then electrodepositing a coating layer having good weather resistance on the outermost surface. A method of coating has been proposed (JP-A-60-22387).
No. 5, JP-A-61-149497, and JP-A-6-149497.
At present, it has not been put to practical use because the equipment becomes complicated and the productivity is remarkably reduced. The present invention solves the problems in the prior art as described above, and an electrodeposition paint capable of depositing a layer having excellent weather resistance on the surface by a single electrodeposition coating, and a water-soluble paint for the electrodeposition paint constituting the paint. It is an object of the present invention to provide an electrodeposition coating film formed from the resin composition and the paint.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The construction and operation of the present invention will be described.
In the electrodeposition coating film of the present invention, a fluorine-containing copolymerizable vinyl monomer segregating on the coating film surface and a copolymerizable vinyl monomer having an ultraviolet absorbing ability, The polymerizable vinyl monomer is reacted with another copolymerizable vinyl monomer to form a copolymer, which is further mixed with an amino resin and then electrodeposited to form a fluorine-containing substituent and absorb ultraviolet light. Forming a coating film containing a group having an ability and / or a group having a radical scavenging ability, creating a surface concentrated state of the group having an ultraviolet absorbing ability and / or a radical scavenging ability by segregation, By increasing the ability to capture light on the film surface,
Improved weather resistance.

The above-mentioned segregation is caused by the fact that a group having a large number of groups having an ultraviolet absorbing ability and / or a group having a small number of groups having a radical scavenging ability does not exist randomly in the coating film, but rather is present on the surface side of the coating film. , And the smaller the closer to the substrate side, the so-called inclined structure. A group having ultraviolet absorbing ability and a group having radical scavenging ability,
The segregation on the surface of the electrodeposition coating film is due to SEM-EPM
A (electron probe microanalyzer). That is, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, after mixing an electrodeposition paint and a color electrodeposition paint containing titanium oxide, a piece of the electrodeposited coating film is cut, and the coating film is cut along the cross section of the coating film. It was confirmed by measuring the change in the amount of titanium oxide in the depth direction. From the left in the photograph of FIG. 1, an embedding resin for analysis, a coating film, an alumite layer, and an aluminum substrate are shown. There is a horizontal straight line, indicating that the electron beam is being irradiated along that line. The lower line shows the distribution of titanium atoms measured from the irradiated part. From this result, it can be seen that there is almost no peak on the coating film surface. This means the absence of a titanium atom. However, since the peak gradually increases toward the inside, it is understood that titanium atoms are small on the surface of the coating film and are large in the inside. In other words, it can be seen that a large amount of resin having ultraviolet absorbing ability and radical scavenging ability is present on the surface of the coating film.

The above-described segregation phenomenon can be explained by stabilizing energy. It is thought that the surface of the coating film has a composition that reduces the surface free energy, and the interface between the alumite surface and the coating film has a composition that reduces the interfacial energy. I have.
For this reason, the copolymer containing a fluorine-containing substituent moves at a position where the surface free energy is small, that is, during the deposition of an electrodeposition coating film in the surface direction of the coating film, or during electrodeposition and baking,
It is considered that segregation occurs in the surface layer in an inclined state. Accordingly, the electrodeposition coating composition of the present invention is obtained by copolymerizing a fluorine-containing substituent, a group having an ultraviolet absorbing ability and / or a group having a radical scavenging ability. It is considered that the group having the ability and / or the group having the radical scavenging ability also similarly segregate in the surface layer in an inclined state.

Further, as an incidental effect, it has been found that the water repellency of the fluorine-containing substituent suppresses water from entering the coating film, and as a result, it is hardly attacked by chemicals such as acids and aqueous alkali solutions. Was. Further, since the coefficient of friction is low, even if the coating films are in contact with each other for a long time, they do not adhere to each other (the blocking resistance is also good). It is expected that lowering the coefficient of friction of the surface will deteriorate the adhesiveness of the sealing agent or the like, but it has been found that there is no particular problem in this regard.

When an amino resin component is added to the (meth) acrylic co-vinyl polymer component, partially neutralized with an organic amine, and then added with water to form an emulsion, an electrodeposition paint is obtained. In the electrodeposition paint, an inorganic pigment, an organic pigment, an organic dye, or the like can be used as a coloring agent, and an extender, an organic resin bead, or the like can be used as a filler. The solvent can be used from lower alcohol to higher alcohol.

In the present invention, the solid content concentration of the electrodeposition bath for carrying out the electrodeposition coating is preferably 5 to 15% by weight. At less than 5% by weight, it takes a long time to form a coating of the required thickness,
It is uneconomical, and if it exceeds 15% by weight, the state of the coating bath becomes unstable, and a defect that unevenness occurs in the formed coating film appears, which is not preferable. In addition, an antioxidant, a so-called light stabilizer having radical scavenging ability, and an ultraviolet absorber can also be used in combination with the water-soluble resin composition for electrodeposition paint.

Evaluation of Resin Compositions Using the electrodeposition coating solutions prepared in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5, an aluminum plate treated with alumite was used for the anode and a 18-8 stainless steel plate was used for the cathode in a conventional manner. The bath temperature was 20 ° C., and a DC voltage of 180 V was applied between both electrodes for 2 minutes. Next, the electrodeposited aluminum plate was taken out, washed sufficiently with water, and baked and dried at a temperature of 180 ° C. for 30 minutes. The characteristics of the electrodeposition coating film formed on each aluminum plate were as shown in Table 2.
