This is an important factor in maintaining the balance of the replacement, but the cylindrical projection (106) of the front shaft fits into the cartridge as in the above-mentioned writing implement, and the gap directly in contact with the ink is the gap between the relay core and the inner circumference of the cylindrical projection. In the case of a writing instrument having a gap A formed between the surface and the surface, the writing performance is determined by the relationship between the gap A and the physical properties of the ink, particularly the viscosity.

The ease of replacement depends on the size of the gap. During normal writing, ink is transferred from the pen core to a writing object such as paper, and the ink of the cartridge is supplied to the pen core via the relay core. When the ink in the cartridge is pulled and moved by the capillary force of the relay core, the inside of the cartridge is depressurized, and the gap A displaces the ink and the air that has entered from the collector. Is eliminated, and the designed outflow amount of normal ink is determined.

If the replacement of air and ink becomes difficult, the replacement does not occur unless the pressure reduction of the cartridge becomes extremely large for replacement, and if the pressure reduction state of the cartridge is not eliminated,
The degree of decompression increases, preventing the ink in the cartridge from being drawn out by the capillary force of the relay core, thinning the writing line and causing poor writing such as blurring. Also, when the viscosity of the ink is high, the speed of air replacement at the time of writing slows down, causing blurring.

In addition, it prevents and stabilizes an increase in a writing flow rate and leakage (DC) of ink from a pen core.

C, a 7-day DC test was performed to evaluate whether or not the ink leaked from the pen core. When the temperature increased, the surface tension of the ink decreased, and the ability to hold the ink in the gap A became weaker. Leakage or DC occurs.

According to the present invention, a barrel body is formed by a front shaft and a rear shaft detachably attached to the front shaft, and a front barrel portion and a rear barrel portion are formed inside the front shaft of the barrel body via a partition wall. And the surface of the partition wall in the front shaft on the side of the distal end cylindrical portion is formed as a stepped concave portion that is recessed at the center from the peripheral portion, and is spaced axially (D) on the outer peripheral body portion. A liquid conducting slit having a predetermined width (C) is formed in the plurality of arranged storage plates in the axial direction between the respective storage plates,
A collector for temporarily holding the coating liquid through the liquid conducting slit is formed within the interval, and the collector is inserted into the distal end cylindrical portion so that an outer peripheral portion of the collector can communicate with the outside air. The rear end surface of the collector is brought into contact with the concave portion to form a first gap (B) between the rear end surface and the center of the concave portion. In the portion, a relay core is inserted, and a communication hole that does not directly conduct to the liquid conduction slit is formed, and an application body that is joined to the distal end portion of the relay core is held in an application body holder that is continuous with the tip of the collector. A cylindrical projection having a communication hole in which the rear end of the relay core straddles the communication hole of the collector and is inserted with a second gap (A) provided in the rear end cylindrical portion; Exchangeable with application liquid stored in the shape of a protrusion The cartridge is detachably loaded with the distal end thereof, so that the application liquid in the cartridge can be supplied to the application body side via the relay core, while the coating liquid between the inner wall of the cylindrical projection and the relay core is provided. An applicator in which the second gap (A) is set to 0.02 mm by communicating the two gaps, the first gap, and the liquid conducting slit so as to temporarily hold the application liquid in the gap between the collector storage plates. ≦ A ≦ 0.25mm

Further, the second gap A is set to 0.02 mm ≦ A
≦ 0.25 mm and its viscosity at 25 ° C. is 12 mPa
Since s or less, when the application of the liquid progresses and the inside of the cartridge is depressurized, the ink and the air can be smoothly replaced, and the depressurization in the cartridge can be quickly eliminated. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate writing and application defects such as blurred writing lines. In addition, even if the viscosity is low with an aqueous coating liquid, the liquid does not flow directly if the second gap is set as described above, and the liquid is good.

As shown in FIG. 5, a concave portion 19 is formed with a step, and a gap B is formed between the contact surface 13a of the partition wall 13 and the rear end surface 20b of the collector 20 by the concave portion 19. By being formed corresponding to the opening end 32a, the ink slit 32 and the cylindrical protrusion 1
The gap A between the inner periphery 6 and the relay core 23 communicates with each other. Note that a plurality of concave grooves 33 extending radially in the axial outer radial direction are provided in the concave portion 19 formed stepwise on the contact surface 13 a of the partition wall 13 in the front shaft 11. Further, the inner peripheral surface 17a of the communication hole 17 of the cylindrical projection 16 provided on the rear end cylindrical portion 15 side of the front shaft 11 into which the rear end 23b of the relay core 23 is inserted.
6 and 7, a plurality of ribs 34 are formed in the circumferential direction of the shaft, and the rear end 23b of the relay core 23 is connected to the communication hole of the cylindrical projection 16 by each of the ribs 34. 17 is held with a gap A between the inner peripheral surface 17a and the inner peripheral surface 17a. A gap A is provided between the rear end 23b of the relay core 23 and the inner peripheral surface 17a of the communication hole 17 of the cylindrical projection 16.

A good evaluation was obtained for writing blur at 02 mm or more,
The ink direct current was good at 0.25 mm or less. From this, as described above, the gap A is 0.02 mm
It is understood that it is appropriate to set the size range of ≦ A ≦ 0.25 mm. Further, since a very good evaluation was obtained in the “writing blur evaluation”, the gap A was 0.05 mm.
It is more preferable to set ≦ A ≦ 0.25 mm.

確認したところ次表の結果が得られた。When the ink viscosity increases, the ink flow to the pen core is reduced by the capillary force of the relay core of the ink, so that the ink flow becomes poor, and writing blur tends to occur. Therefore, when the gap A was small, it was confirmed that there was no problem, and the results in the following table were obtained.

The surface of the partition wall in the front shaft on the side of the distal end cylindrical portion is formed as a stepped concave portion that is recessed at the center from the peripheral edge, and is spaced axially (D) on the outer peripheral trunk portion. A liquid conducting slit of a predetermined width (C) is formed in the plurality of storage plates arranged in the axial direction between the respective retaining plates, and the coating liquid is temporarily passed through the liquid conducting slit within the space. The collector is inserted into the distal end cylindrical portion so that the outer peripheral portion of the collector can communicate with the outside air, and the inserted rear end surface of the collector is brought into contact with the concave surface portion to form the collector. A relay core is inserted into the central portion of the collector, and a communication hole that does not directly conduct the liquid through the slit is formed in the central portion of the collector. A cylindrical projection having a communication hole in which the rear end of the relay core straddles the communication hole of the collector and is inserted with a second gap (A) in the rear end cylindrical portion. The tip of a replaceable cartridge containing the coating liquid is detachably loaded in the cylindrical projection, and the coating liquid in the cartridge can be supplied to the coating body via the relay core. On the other hand, the second gap between the inner wall of the cylindrical protrusion and the relay core, the first gap, and the liquid conduction slit communicate with each other, so that the coating liquid can be temporarily held in the gap between the collector storage plates.
