Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to carry out water feeding while effectively preventing hot air leakage by providing a washing and drying machine with a circulating path for circulating hot air heated by a heating means to an inner tub and a middle partition plate covering the upper part of an outer tub and providing a water feed hole bored at the middle partition plate with a stop valve which opens at the time of a washing stage and closes at the time of a drying stage. SOLUTION: Washing and rinsing of wash 41 are carried out by rotating a pulsator 24 with the driving power of a motor 29 via a washing shaft. A drain cock 31 is then opened to drain the washing water in the inner tub 21 and thereafter, the inner tube 21 is rotated at a high speed and the wash 41 is dehydrated by centrifugal force, following that the washing stage is shifted to the drying stage. In the drying stage, the drain cock 31 is closed and a changeover drain cock 38 is opened and the stop valve 45 disposed in the water feed hole 44 bored at the middle partition plate 36 is closed. The hot air is sent into the inner tub 21 by the heat generation of a heater 33 and the blowing action of a fan 34 for drying. The drying is progressed by circulating the hot air raised to the high humidity in the inner tube 21 to the suction side of the fan 34 inclusive of a heat exchanger 39.

Then, by the heat generated by the heater 33 and the blowing operation of the drying blower 34, the warm air is sent into the inner tank 21 through the tube 35 and the warm air opening 47. At this time, since the middle partition plate 36 is provided, the warm air does not escape above the inner tank 21.

Thereafter, the high-humidity hot air flows into the connection duct 37 communicating with the lower portion of the outer tank 22 through a hole in the side surface of the inner tank 21 and a gap between the fluid balancer 23 and the partition plate 36. Then, when passing through the heat exchange unit 39, the high-humidity hot air is cooled, condensed and dehumidified in the heat exchange unit 39, and returns to the drying blower 34 again. In this way, the laundry 41 is dried while circulating and dehumidifying the warm air.

Regarding the operation, the description of the parts common to the first embodiment is omitted, and only the characteristic features of the present embodiment will be described. The check valve 49 opens with the weight of the water supplied from the water supply valve 43 at the time of washing, so that a control circuit for operating the check valve 49 to open the water supply hole 44 becomes unnecessary. In the drying process, since there is no water supply from the water supply valve 43, the check valve 49, which is elastic and is normally provided so as to close the water supply hole 44, makes the water supply hole 44 available during the washing process. Even if it is open, the water supply hole 44 is elastic due to the elasticity during drying.
And a control circuit for operating the check valve 49 so as to close the water supply hole 44 becomes unnecessary.

As described above, since a control circuit for controlling the check valve 49 is not required, the check valve 49 does not require wiring for control. When the check valve 49 needs to be controlled, the flowing current is very small, but since the place where the check valve 49 is attached is around water, it cannot be said that there is no failure due to an electric short circuit or the like. For example, the water supply hole 44 is closed at the time of water supply due to a failure, and the water supplied from the water supply valve 43 is
It is easy to imagine flooding and flooding the room. However, according to the present embodiment, there is no need to worry about a failure around the electricity related to such a check valve, and safety is improved.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the use of the simple check valve 49 eliminates the need for a complicated on-off valve requiring control, thereby improving safety. And the leakage of warm air from the water supply hole 44 during the drying process can be prevented.

Regarding the operation, the description of the parts common to the first and second embodiments is omitted, and only the characteristic features of the present embodiment will be described. In the present embodiment, at the time of the washing process, first, the drawer 52 of the detergent input box 51 is pulled out, the detergent is input, and the drawer 52 is set in the detergent input box 51 again. Next, when the operation is started, the water supply valve 43 is opened, and the water from the tap water is supplied to the detergent charging box 51, mixed with the detergent, and the washing water in which the detergent is dissolved is discharged from the drain hole 53 to the lower partition plate 36 below. The water is drained toward the water supply hole 50 provided.

A check valve 49 provided in the water supply hole 50 and having elasticity opens the water supply hole 50 by the weight of the washing water falling from above, and the washing water is supplied into the inner tub 21. At this time, the washing water in which the detergent is dissolved passes through the check valve 49, and the check valve 49 can be washed.

Since the water supply hole 50 has a substantially inverted conical cross section, the washing water that has fallen from the drain hole 53 of the detergent supply box 51 to the vicinity of the water supply hole 50 does not remain near the water supply hole 50, and the washing water flows out of the water supply hole 50. It is supplied into the inner tank 21. For this reason, the dried laundry does not get wet due to the water droplets remaining in the vicinity of the water supply hole 50 or the water droplets containing the detergent remaining in the vicinity of the water supply hole 50 do not dry and become stains in the vicinity of the water supply hole 50. .

Regarding the operation, the description of the parts common to the first, second or third embodiment is omitted, and only the characteristic features of the present embodiment will be described. In the drying process, the power of the motor 29 is also transmitted to the inner tub 21 via a dehydrating shaft by a clutch built in the motor 29, the inner tub 21 is rotated together with the pulsator 24, and the laundry 41 is transferred to the inner tub 21 by centrifugal force. Attach to the inner side wall. In this state, due to the heat generated by the heater 33 and the blowing operation of the drying blower 54, warm air is sent from the heat exchange unit 39 into the outer tub 22 through the connection duct 37 communicating with the lower part of the outer tub 22. Then, from the outside of the hole provided in the side wall of the inner tank 21 to the inner direction, the inner tank 2
The laundry passes through the laundry stuck to the inner side wall of the inner tub 21 and is then sent to the tube 35 from above the inner tub 21.

When the warm air passes through the laundry 41 stuck to the inner side wall of the inner tub 21, the moisture of the laundry 41 evaporates and becomes hot air of high humidity. The high-humidity hot air returns from the tube 35 to the drying blower 54 again, and is sent to the rear heat exchange unit 39. The high-humidity hot air is cooled in the heat exchange unit 39, condensed and dehumidified, and returns to the inner tank 21 through the connection duct 37 again. In this manner, the laundry 41 is dried while circulating and dehumidifying the warm air.

In the drying process, since the warm air flows upward in the inner tank 21 against the gravity, the upward force is also exerted on the check valve 49 provided in the water supply hole 50. work. The air pressure of the warm air allows the check valve 49 to firmly press the water supply hole 50 from below, regardless of whether the check valve 49 has elasticity. It is closed by the valve 49, and the leakage of the warm air from the water supply hole 50 is eliminated. Therefore, the selection range of the material used for the check valve 49 is expanded, and the material cost can be reduced.
