Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the remote control of directivity by incorporating an antenna in a radio equipment by miniaturizing an antenna, and obtaining uni-directional directivity. SOLUTION: A circular loop conductor 103 with one wavelength is arranged on parallel faces separated from a conductive plate 101 by 0.2-0.3 wavelength, and slits 102a and 102b are formed in a Y direction on the conductive plate 101. Thus, length (a) of one side in a Z direction of the conductive plate 101 is set so as to be made the same as a diameter b of the loop conductor 103, and the conductive plate 101 is allowed to operate as a reflector so that uni-directional directivity can be obtained.

The wireless device of the conventional wireless microphone system is generally mounted on an indoor wall, and the antenna is unidirectionally directed toward the room opposite to the wall. Sex is required. Also,
In some cases, a narrow directivity is required to concentrate the directivity on a part of the room. Generally, the wireless device is often mounted at a high place on a wall, and it is required to remotely control the directivity of the antenna after the wireless device is mounted. Also, when the antenna is attached to a gymnasium or the like, there is a high possibility that a ball or the like will collide, and it is required to incorporate an antenna inside the housing to prevent damage. It is also required to switch the polarization of the antenna.

Also, there is a problem that a narrow directivity cannot be obtained, and the directivity of the antenna cannot be remotely controlled after the antenna is mounted. Further, there is a problem that the polarization of the antenna cannot be switched. In addition, a half wavelength (about 190 mm) is required as the total length of the dipole antenna, and there is a problem that the antenna cannot be built in the housing of the wireless device.

On the other hand, in a conventional one-wavelength loop antenna with a reflector, the diameter of a one-wavelength circular loop conductor is about 0.32 wavelength (120 mm), and it is possible to incorporate this circular loop inside the housing of a wireless device. However, the conductive plate operated as a reflector has a side length of a half wavelength (19

In a conductive plate having no slit, its electrical length is the same as the length of the conductive plate. However, in a conductive plate provided with a slit, a current flows so as to bypass the slit. Can be longer. For example, if the operating frequency of the antenna device is 800 MHz, a1 is 120 mm, which is the same length as the diameter b of the loop conductor. Here, when two slits 102a and 102b having a length c1 of 40 mm are provided, the main radiation direction is in the X direction, the maximum gain in the X direction is about 8 dBi, and the F / B ratio is about 15 dB. . Therefore, in this antenna device, the main polarization is switched by opening and closing two switches 116a and 116b arranged on the loop conductor. For example, when the main polarization directions are the Z and -Z directions, the switch 116a is opened and the switch 116b is closed. As a result, the transmission line 115b is short-circuited by the switch 116b, and the impedance viewed from the power supply unit 104 becomes infinite because the electric length of the transmission line is a quarter wavelength, and the transmission line 115b can be ignored. Since the switch 116a is open in the transmission line 115a,
Power is supplied to the loop conductor 103 from both ends of the switch 116a.
Therefore, the main polarization directions of the antenna device are the Z and -Z directions.

Therefore, in this antenna device, DPDT switches 118a to 118b are used as switching means between the loop conductor 103 and the transmission lines 115a and 115b. For example, to set the main polarization directions to the Z and -Z directions, the DPDT switch 118a is connected to the transmission line 115a and the loop conductor 103.
And the DPDT switch 118b is connected to the −Z of the loop conductor 103.
The ends of the transmission line 115b are short-circuited while connecting the sides. As a result, the loop conductor 103 and the transmission line 115b are electrically opened by the DPDT switch 118b, the impedance of the transmission line 115b viewed from the power supply unit 104 becomes infinite, and the transmission line 115b can be ignored.
