Claims (7)

[Claims]
1. A portable information device including a display unit capable of displaying a map image, comprising: a finger motion detection unit configured to detect a movement history of a finger touching the display unit on which the map image is displayed; Based on the movement history, rotation, enlargement,
Operation content determining means for determining that at least one operation of reduction and scroll has been input; and a map obtained by performing at least one operation of rotation, enlargement, reduction and scroll on a map image displayed on the display unit based on the determination. A portable information device comprising: a map image generating means for generating an image.

The operation content determination unit according to claim 1, wherein the operation content determination unit determines at least one of a rotation amount, an enlargement amount, a reduction amount, and a scroll amount of the map image based on the movement history of the finger. A portable information device, wherein a map image generating means generates a map image obtained by performing at least one operation of rotation, enlargement, reduction, and scrolling on a map image displayed on a display unit based on the determined operation amount. .
3. The operation according to claim 1, wherein the finger operation detecting means detects an operation of moving two fingers in contact with a display unit on which a map image is displayed. A portable information device comprising: a content determining unit that determines that an operation for enlarging a map image has been input; and the map image generating unit generates an enlarged map image.

The operation according to claim 1, wherein the finger movement detecting means detects an action of bringing two fingers brought into contact with a display unit on which a map image is displayed, to move the two fingers closer to each other. A portable information device, wherein the content determining means determines that a map image reducing operation has been input, and the map image generating means generates a reduced map image.

The digital camera according to claim 1, wherein the finger motion detecting unit is configured to contact the display unit with one finger contacting the display unit on which the map image is displayed. When detecting an operation of rotating a finger, the operation content determination unit determines that a rotation operation of a map image has been input, and the map image generation unit generates a rotated map image.
