Further, as disclosed in Japanese Kokai Publication No. 95-11982, the electromagnetic brake of the traction machine is once released, and the rotation detector detects that the larger one of the car and the counterweight descends. In order to detect the light load direction and determine the light load direction, there has been proposed.

In the method disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 95-11982, the electromagnetic brake is once released, and the car or the counter weight is lowered, whichever is larger, until the electromagnetic brake is applied again. Is controlled by time, and there is a problem that the elevator coasts during that time.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an elevator control apparatus for rescue operation of an elevator to the nearest floor using an emergency power supply unit in the event of a power failure. Means for determining the direction when the traction machine rotates in the heavy load direction with the release of the electromagnetic brake, and driving the traction motor when the traction machine rotates, giving a rotational force in the opposite direction to rotate the traction machine. Means for stopping, means for operating the electromagnetic brake at the time of rotation stop,
This is achieved by providing a means for driving a traction motor based on the result of the discrimination by the direction discriminating means and rescue the elevator to the nearest floor.

A rotation detector RE attached to a rotation shaft of the traction motor IM directly connected to the traction machine TM detects a rotation direction and a rotation speed of the traction motor IM. A car C is hung on one side of the traction machine TM via a rope, and a counterweight W is hung on the other side. When the elevator stops, the traction machine TM is held by an electromagnetic brake MB so as not to rotate.

In the power failure control circuit EC, an electromagnetic brake drive command is first issued from the light load direction detection circuit LD, and in response to this command, the brake drive circuit BD operates to release the electromagnetic brake MB. With the release of the electromagnetic brake MB, the larger of the car C and the counterweight W, which are the loads on the traction machine TM, descends. Accordingly, the rotation axes of the traction machine TM and the traction motor IM rotate, and the rotation direction is detected by the rotation detector RE. Here, a traction motor drive command in a direction opposite to the direction detected by the rotation detector is generated by the power failure control circuit EC. In response to this command, the traction motor heavy load direction drive circuit HD
Operates and the rotation detector RE is connected to the traction motor.
Apply a torque in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation detected in step 1 to stop the rotation of the rotation shaft of the traction machine. Then, the electromagnetic brake drive command is interrupted, and the electromagnetic brake MB is held. Thereafter, the rescue operation is performed in the light load direction determined by the light load direction detection circuit LD according to the rescue operation command.

According to the present invention, it is possible to determine the light load direction of the elevator operation control at the time of a power failure without adding a weighing device for detecting a 50% load to the elevator car. It is possible to reduce the design change of the car frame, the number of parts, and the assembling work when the rescue operation device is mounted.
