DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a device for locking the rotation of the double-bitted key, particularly for a lock of a door or leaf, for example an access door to a house or a gate.

Lever locks are currently known which are suitable for example to allow the closure of a door or gate, etc. operated by means of a key known on the market as "double bitted".

Such known locks are suitable for being easily opened even by non-experts with particular manipulation tools which can be found on the market. The technique used is to insert these tools into the keyhole. These tools have a movable part that adapts to the original coding of the lock, thus allowing it to be opened.

One of the simplest remedies to avoid such opening is to leave the key engaged in the keyhole of the lock itself, engaged in the middle of the cycle; so that it remains locked and cannot be pushed from the outside to the inside. Even in this condition, over time, a device has been found that allows you to engage the key (present in the keyhole), turn it from the lock position and then push it out, releasing the keyhole, and then proceed with other handling tools and then open the lock without breaking.

The main task of what forms the subject of the present invention is therefore to solve the problems highlighted, eliminating the aforementioned drawbacks and therefore devising an invention which allows access to the lock to be effectively protected, thus preventing tampering attempts. of the same.

Another purpose of the invention is to create a device which, if activated, can block the rotation of the key in the lock, and in the rest position allows the free rotation of the key in the keyhole, allowing the lock to be opened and closed.

Another object of the invention is to make it extremely difficult from the outside to access the lock even by an expert burglar.

Yet another object is to provide an invention which can be easily applied also to common known locks.

Not least object is to provide an invention which is structurally simple, the same having low manufacturing costs.

The aforementioned task and purposes, as well as others which will appear more clearly later, are achieved by a protective device structure, particularly for a door or leaf structure, comprising a covering element, fixed inside the door, and comprising a fixed plate and a movable fork adapted to receive the head of the key, said fork is pivoting on an axis and is held in the opening and closing position by a movable pin associated with a spring.

Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the detailed description of a particular, but not exclusive embodiment, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the attached drawings, in which:

With reference to the attached figures, the number (1) indicates a protective device structure for a door or leaf lock, such as, for example, an access door to a house, gate, etc.

The structure of the device (1) comprises a plate (2) which can be fixed with screws (4) inside the door or leaf, in such a position as to correspond to the keyhole of the lock (3).

In the central part of the plate {2}, the mobile fork (6) is mounted with special pins (5), so that it can rotate freely on the axis of the pins (5) up to the stroke end (7) fig.7.

A hole (8) is made in the upper part of the mobile fork (6) where a pin (9) is mounted pushed upwards by a spring (10). The exit of the pin (9) is prevented by a pin (11) mounted transversely to the pin itself.

When the device is at rest, fig. 2 and 3, the pin (9) partially enters a hole (12), with a smaller diameter than the pin itself, obtained in the plate (2). This allows the mobile fork (6) to remain in the rest position, semi-locked, by means of the restraint by the pin (9); this allows the key (13) to rotate freely in the keyhole, as the fork (6) in the rest position does not disturb the functionality of the key.

Bringing the key in the lock to the half-open position with the head of the key horizontal (as previously described), the mobile fork (6) is rotated on the pin (5) so that the pin (9) comes out of its seat hole (12). The spring (10) pushes the pin (9) upwards for such a stroke as to keep the mobile fork (6) blocked by the pin (9) in contrast on the edge of the base (2) and prevented from rotating further by the limit switch (7).

In this way the mobile fork (6) prevents the rotation of the key head (13), as this is located inside the slot of the fork itself (fig. 5).

The mobile fork (6) is kept in this locked position by the pin (9), on one side, and by the travel stop (7) on the other.

To release the key from the rotation lock position, the pin (9) is manually pushed downwards, so that the mobile fork (6) can be freely rotated in the pin axis (5) until it reaches the position rest and is held on this by the pin (9) which partially falls into the hole (12) positioned in the plate (2) (fig. 8). The key (13) at this point remains completely free to rotate, released from any block.

It was thus found that the invention has achieved the intended aim and objects, a protection device structure having been devised particularly for a lock capable of effectively protecting said lock from attempts to tamper with it.

This solution makes it possible to prevent, when at home, access to the lock from the outside, and its opening with manipulation through tools.

In addition, the structure of the device according to the invention can be easily applied also to common known locks; furthermore, the production costs of the device structure according to the invention remain modest, since it is made only with components that are easy to produce and / or assemble.

The invention is naturally susceptible of numerous modifications or variations, all of which are within the scope of the same inventive concept.

The materials used as well as the dimensions that constitute the individual components of the invention may of course be the most pertinent according to specific requirements.

The different means for carrying out certain different functions will certainly not have to coexist only in the illustrated embodiment, but may be present per se in many embodiments, including those not illustrated.

The characteristics indicated as advantageous, suitable or similar, may also be missing or be replaced by equivalents.
