Following meetings and discussions with operators in the sector, with the aim of starting an entrepreneurial project based on the technology of patent no. 000 1382326, some areas of technical and functional improvement were verified.

The need for interventions capable of:

implement a system for recognizing the transmitted content in order to simplify the transmission mechanism by radio broadcasters,

shorten and simplify the methods and process of purchasing radio content as envisaged in the previous patent, increase the number of potential users of the service by extending it also to radio receivers not equipped with RDS technology.

It is necessary to develop a system and a procedure for the marketing of multimedia contents, in particular radio and music, capable of solving the problems presented.

In accordance with the invention, the purposes are achieved through the adoption of a different procedure for recognizing radio content: based on the use of the International Standard Recording Code (ISRC), it is achieved through a continuous exchange of information between the center. telematic, radio remit, the Moveyourmusic website and digital content provider. The procedure is characterized by the fact that it includes the phases of:

- transmission by radio broadcasters of content, without the need to implement coding or to transmit additional data through Radio Data System (RDS) technology,

activation in real time by the user of purchasing means to forward a purchase request to a telematic center,

sending of the purchase request by telephone call to a predetermined number, different for each radio station, without the need to type and send additional information (codes or data strings), acquisition exclusively of the radio content being transmitted during the sending of the request of purchase,

recognition of the content requested through appropriate synchronization and verification processes that are carried out between the telematic center, the radio remit, the Moveyourmusic website and the digital content provider,

- recognition of the user-system that originated the request through the use of CLID-type sw and hw technologies, calling line identification, authorization or refusal of the purchase by the telematic center by sending a purchase request outcome message,

- sending the purchased radio content in digital form to storage media accessible to the buyer,

In accordance with the invention, the purposes are achieved by means of a radio / telematic system for the distribution and real-time purchase of radio content, comprising at least one radio transmitter capable of transmitting radio content to a plurality of user systems. Each of the user systems comprises: a radio receiver equipped with acoustic means suitable for reproducing said radio contents to a listener; purchase means operable by said listener adapted to forward, by telephone signaling, a purchase request to a telematic center; storage means accessible to said listener.

The system is therefore of simple construction, since it inventively brings together already known elements.

These and other characteristics of the present invention will be made more evident by the following detailed description of an embodiment thereof, illustrated by way of non-limiting purpose in the attached drawings. In choosing the numbering of the figures, reference is made to the one already used for the previous patent 0001382326, adding a letter A where updates have occurred.

Figure 1A shows a system 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention. A radio station 104 transmits via radio waves, through an antenna 108, radio content in the form of FM radio waves 105 to a plurality of user-systems; in the example, for simplicity, only the radio station 104 and a single user-system 300 are exemplified, equivalent in this case to the device 103, illustrated in detail with figures 2 and 7 of the previous patent.

The user system 103 is capable of performing a sound reproduction of the radio contents and of any conventional sound signals and, optionally, a display 112 of text messages. A listener 900 is able to request the purchase of a radio content in real time, or while listening, by pressing 113 of a suitable key 614. Following this action 113, the user-system 300 sends, by carrying out a telephone call to a predetermined fixed network number uniquely associated with the radio station being listened to, a purchase request 109 to a telematic center 111, which is able, through the connection via mobile network 110, to send the radio content 105 in a format 316 suitable for being stored in a memory 609 of the user-system 300 and therefore reproduced an indefinite number of times, possibly copied onto Flash-type memories and therefore reproducible also on further devices equipped with the same interface, such as MP3 players, mobile phones, smartphones, personal computers. The broadcaster 104, permanently connected to the telematic center 111 through a protected internet connection 117, informs the telematic center 111 whenever the broadcast radio content changes by sending, specifically with regard to musical content, the ISRC code corresponding to the song being played. This automatism allows the telematic center 111 to know and acquire, through the protected internet connection 114 which permanently connects it to the content server 311, all the contents in digital format then transmitted by the radio station 104 and then to retransmit them, via the mobile network, in memory areas 609 of the user-system 300, i.e. the device 103, accessible to the listener 900.

Figure 3A shows a block diagram of the telematic center 111, which includes the following hardware and software blocks:

- a database of 307 customers containing information relating to the various registered users, such as personal data, physical address and e-mail address, codes uniquely associated with each user;

a database of broadcasters 308 containing information relating to the broadcasters and the radio content they distribute;

- a database of contents 309 in which the data of all the radio contents transmitted by the broadcasters and sold are recorded; each piece can be associated with a series of information or codes that will uniquely qualify it;

- a database of transactions 3 13 in which the credit information of each user and the transactions carried out are recorded, highlighting the availability of credit; on this database it is also possible to carry out statistics regarding the most downloaded contents by listeners, benefiting the producers of multimedia contents;

- a 406 application server equipped with special software capable of managing and controlling all the functions and processes listed below;

hardware and software means for managing the databases 407, capable of performing writes and reads from databases 307, 308, 309, 313;

- a hardware and software interface 404 with the mobile network, capable of making the aforementioned connections 110 with the user-systems 300 by means of their radio transmitters-receivers 608;

- a hardware and software interface 403 with the ISDN / Pstn telephone network, capable of carrying out recognition operations, through the use of CLID -calling line Identification- type sw and hw technologies, of the calling telephone number and the corresponding request purchase 109. Requests made by user-systems 300, through their radio transmitters-receivers 608 and 710;

remote access hardware and software means 405 capable of controlling the purchase requests 109 arriving from the various user-systems 103; - an interface 412 capable of managing intranet connections 114,115,117 respectively with the content server 31 1, the web server Moveyourmusic 118 and the radio stations 104.

A possible operation of the telematic center 111 is schematically illustrated in Figure 6A.

From an initial state 301, the system receives continuous flows of information: on the one hand, the purchase requests 109 initiated by a user system 300 arrive, on the other hand, via the connection 117, the radio station 104 sends the update of the ISRC code relating to the content transmitted. The information collected is then processed in state 303: the purchase request 109 is decoded; the TN telephone number of the applicant and the code corresponding to the RI radio station that transmitted the requested content are discriminated against. The same information is subsequently recorded in the customer databases 307 and radio broadcasters 308.

Note how the TN telephone number is compared with the data in the customer database 307 so that the listener's name and personal, residential and contact details are obtained 900. The cost 310 of each radio content is compared with the listener's residual credit 315, provided as output from the transaction database 313. In case the comparison 312 is successful (which means that the residual credit 315 is greater than the cost 310, and therefore the radio content can be purchased), an application 314 to decrease the residual credit is forwarded to the database 313; subsequently, the database 313 provides the authorization to the transaction 317. If, on the other hand, the comparison 312 fails, an error message 318 is sent to the requesting user-system via connection 1 10, and then the system is returned to its initial state 301.

The database 309 also outputs a file 316 containing the radio content desired by the listener 900.

The "packaging" status 319 then obtains the value of the TN telephone number of the radio transmitter-receiver 608, the authorization for the transaction 317, the file 316 containing the radio content, the file 321 containing updates relating to the "Service numbers table" (SN) associated with radio broadcasters; this information is sent:

to the user-system 300 (103) through connection 110, so that it is saved in the hard disk 609 or in the Flash memory 613;

optionally to the Moveyourmusic 118 web server, via the intranet connection 115, so that the 900 listener, accessing it at a later time, is able to use the radio content.

Prior to sending the radio content, a purchase confirmation message can be sent to the user-system 300 (103).

Figure 7 A illustrates a possible operating diagram of a user system 103. The diagram does not refer to the typical operations of stereo systems, such as the search for previously stored content and reproduction by means of sound media, but only to the operations according to the present invention, in particular content request and acquisition operations.

Initially the user-system 103 is in the initial state 501, through the radio receiver 604 the transmitted contents 105 are received and reproduced; at the same time, through connection 110, a flow of information is received generated by the databases 308,309,313 which inform the system if:

updates have been made to the SN (service numbers) 512 table, which associates each individual radio station with a specific service number intended for the receipt of purchase requests 109;

the user's residual credit is less than the minimum value to purchase any content;

a radio content in digital format has been sent.

At status 514 it is checked whether the tuned radio broadcaster has a correspondence with list 512: the SN to which a possible purchase request is to be addressed is then discriminated and the reference SN table in disk 609 or in memory 613, which contains also the catalog of all digital content purchased.

At status 505, it is checked whether the user / listener 900 has requested, through operation 113, through key 604 or device 710, the purchase of the song being transmitted: in the positive case, a request 109 is transmitted to that effect, that is, a call is made to the corresponding SN number, in addition to being transmitted a message 508 through the display 602 which confirms the request; in the negative case the system returns to stage 501.

From the flow of information 110, through the comparison stages 510 and 511, the data relating to the presence of any radio contents in digital format 316 and to a possible situation of insufficient residual credit are also discriminated. At the end of these operations, the system returns to the initial state 501.

Display 602 will show respectively message 509, confirming the requested download, or message 507, which indicates Γ insufficient credit. At the end of these operations, the system returns to the initial state 501.

With the presence of a 316 content, the registration of the same in the archive 609 or in the memory 613 is also activated.

A different example of embodiment of the present invention provides a variant, as illustrated in Figure 8 A, which extends the concept of user system 300 to a set of technological objects capable of implementing in a distributed way functions previously concentrated in a single device 103. This system comprises: a radio receiver 200 equipped with acoustic means suitable for reproducing said radio contents 105 to a listener 900; purchase means 710 operable 113 by said listener adapted to forward by telephone signaling a purchase request 109 to a telematic center 111; storage means 101,710 accessible to said listener. The purchase request 109 is instantly identified and uniquely associated with the radio content transmitted 105, through appropriate synchronization and verification processes 114,117,320. A confirmation SMS message 110 is then sent and, when the listener 900 deems it appropriate, the download of the radio content in digital format 105 to the storage media 101 via the web server Moveyourmusic 118 and activating the connection 102. .

the telematic networks represented in figures 1A and 8A can be of the following technologies:
