Backrest structure, particularly for chairs, armchairs and the like, characterized in that it comprises a frame 2 provided with a peripheral frame projecting at the front 11, which acts as an element for containing a padding layer 8 of expanded plastic material, that covers the aforementioned backrest.

2. Backrest structure, as in claim 1, characterized by the fact that it can be provided with a central opening 5 in an upper area of the backrest itself, while the base portion 4 defines a vertical seat 6 capable of accommodating a blade, associated with the seat part of the chair.

3. Backrest structure, as in claim 1, characterized by the fact that the frame 2 of the backrest structure in question is made of plastic material by injection molding and can have a honeycomb structure 3 capable of giving the structure of the back 1 a suitable resistance.

4. Backrest structure, as in claim 1, characterized by the fact that it is provided with a central opening, in the version with the ventilated backrest, in which a net 7 or a fabric 9 can be positioned, which is edged on the edge of stitching which serves to place a flexible layer 8 of foam material.

5. Backrest structure, as in claim 1, characterized by the fact that in the upholstered version of the same, the profile of the opening 5 can be visible if a layer of flexible rubber is applied, shaped in the rear part.
