Description

"Sistema modulare di carpenteria per una linea di confezionamento, ad esempio per prodotti farmaceutici od altro" "Modular carpentry system for a packaging line, for example for pharmaceutical products or other"

DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION

The present invention refers to a system for making a packaging line - for example for pharmaceutical or other products - comprising a series of operating machines, suitable for carrying out the product packaging phases in succession, inserted in a modular carpentry system. Each of these operating machines generally comprises a work surface to which the functional operating elements of the machine itself are applied. These machines are generally designed and / or built by different companies according to their respective standards, and therefore require a costly work, each time new and different, to connect them to each other and to the various services (power supply or pilot lines, pneumatic lines or other) by means of a support and containment carpentry.

The present invention aims to simplify this work and consists of a modular carpentry structure within which the various machines and their respective services must find accommodation. This structure, made known to the manufacturers of the machines that must form the line, allows the machines themselves to be coupled and connected to the various services according to pre-established modularity criteria.

In practice, according to the invention, each operating machine is considered to be an envelope structure defining a space having a parallelepiped shape which has sides in plan and height with a length equal to respective integer multiples of predetermined modules. In particular, the development in height includes elements which are also modular, and allows the availability of technical spaces above the operating machines themselves to house services, such as control panels, electrical and pneumatic lines and more. Each casing-structure comprises frames applicable to the respective machines, the frames being mostly developed in a transverse vertical plane and with pre-set dimensions chosen in a modular series. The adjacent structures for adjacent machines are joined together by means of said respective connecting frames. In this way, adjacent operating machines interface with each other by means of the respective connection frames which, being modular, are easy to couple.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, each connection frame has a U-shape with two lateral uprights rigidly connected at the lower end by a crosspiece, by welding or other equivalent system. In a side view, said cross member is preferably contained in the thickness of the uprights of the respective connecting frame and is flush with them at least on one side. The uprights and the crosspiece of said connecting frames preferably have a rectilinear course and a cross-section that is mostly rectangular.

Respective adjustable support feet can be applied to the lower ends of the uprights of the connection frames, by means of screws or other similar connection system, so as to allow easy leveling of the line with respect to the floor.

The uprights and the crosspiece of said connection frames preferably have holes distributed along their development according to a predetermined pitch. These holes are suitable for connecting the frame - by means of screws or square dowels - to the operating part of the relative machine, in particular to its work surface, and - by means of screws and any spacers - to another connection frame applied to an adjacent machine. .

The modular carpentry system according to the invention can also comprise crosspieces of modular length to be interposed between the connecting frames of a respective structure-casing of a machine.

The modular carpentry system can also comprise intermediate frames adapted to be interposed between two terminal frames for connection of a respective structure-casing and connected to them by means of said modular crosspieces. The function of these intermediate frames is to provide additional supports to machines of considerable length. Said intermediate frames are shaped in a similar way to the connection frames, with two lateral uprights joined by a lower crosspiece, and are provided with support feet in correspondence with the respective uprights. The rectangular cross section of the uprights of the connecting frames preferably has the length of the side orthogonal to the plane in which the frame lies equal to a linear module (s), while in the uprights of the intermediate frames the analogous dimension is double length (2s) . The other dimension of the section of the frames can be equal either to said linear module (s) or to its double. The system thus presents a range of frames which differ from each other for the section of the respective uprights and which can be coupled at the uprights, forming composite uprights with a section comprised in a square with side 2x (s). This possibility, as will be clear from the example described below, allows to maintain the modularity in plan both for a line of aligned machines and for a line of machines with lateral branches.

At least some of said connecting and intermediate frames can extend in height at least up to a common surface to support the work surfaces of the packaging line, said common surface being for example placed at 90 cm from the support and walking surface.

At the upper end of the uprights of at least some of said connecting and / or intermediate frames, respective vertical extensions of modular length can be applied, for example by means of screws, which are in turn connected by means of modular crosspieces to form an upper structure. This structure is designed to contain parts of individual operating machines or frames that are accessory to these, such as transparent and non-transparent protective casings, control panels, electrical, pneumatic and similar service units, or even ducts for the passage of electrical and pneumatic lines. , lubrication, suction, and the like, for the service of the various operating machines of the packaging line.

The modular carpentry system can comprise modular infill panels of the contour of the volumetric space of the line. These panels can be made of transparent sheet metal or not, of sound-absorbing material or any other convenient material, and have modular dimensions in relation to the dimensions of said connection and intermediate frames, of the relative connection crosspieces and vertical extensions.

The system according to the invention therefore allows the manufacturers of the various operating machines to know a priori the boundary conditions that the machine they designed and produced will have to satisfy, avoiding subsequent coupling and interface problems and allowing the use of standard components. such as infill panels, electrical panels, electrical and pneumatic line connections, lighting and suction systems, soundproofing systems and technical separation of processes, with certain economic and quality advantages.

Con riferimento alla Fig.l, la linea di confezionamento esemplificata comprende: With reference to Fig. 1, the exemplified packaging line includes:

un dispositivo di caricamento 1 comprendente una tavola rotante 1Z di forma circolare che presenta sulla periferia una serie di alloggiamenti (non mostrati nel disegno) per boccette o flaconi da riempire e confezionare; a loading device 1 comprising a rotary table 1Z of circular shape which has on its periphery a series of housings (not shown in the drawing) for flasks or bottles to be filled and packaged;

- una macchina riempitrice e chiuditrice 3 atta a introdurre in ciascuna boccetta - od altro - una quantità prefissata di un prodotto e a predisporre quindi sull'imboccatura della boccetta stessa un tappo di chiusura; - a filling and closing machine 3 suitable for introducing a predetermined quantity of a product into each bottle - or other - and therefore providing a closure cap on the mouth of the bottle itself;

- a canning machine 9 able to arrange neatly several packaged bottles in a box 9Z.

A system of transfer - per se known - of the bottles is provided between one operating machine and the next, for example by means of conveyor belts, so as to advance the individual bottles in succession along a path 2 between one machine and the other. in the order in which they have been described, from the loading table 1Z of the device 1 to a box 9Z placed in the canning machine 9.

The various operating machines are shown applied to relative work surfaces 1A, 3A, 5A, 7A, 9A extended according to respective dimensions in plan of rectangular shape, each characterized by respectively transverse and longitudinal sides 1B, 1C; 3B, 3C; 5B, 5C; 7B, 7C; 9B, 9C. These sides, according to the invention, are integer multiples of a predefined modular length. The work surfaces of adjacent machines are placed next to each other according to a respective side.

Fig.2 shows a modular structure of containment carpentry of said line of machines obtained by means of tubular sections. A pair of connection frames 1D, 1E are provided for each operating machine; 3D, 3E; 5D, 5E; 7D, 7E; 9D, 9E developed mostly according to respective transverse vertical planes. The various frames have a similar shape, and it will suffice for the description to refer to a typical frame shown in Figs. 3 and 4. Each frame has a U-shape which includes two lateral uprights (a) and a lower crosspiece (b) welded together.

The frame can be completed by an upper cross member (c) connected to the uprights (a) by means of screws and any connection brackets, not shown in the drawing, and by adjustable support feet (d) screwed under the uprights (a).

The modular carpentry structure also includes longitudinal crosspieces such as (e) of Fig. 2, which are of various lengths but in any case multiple of a predefined base length and which connect the frames of each of said pairs of frames to each other. For machines longer than the longer crosspieces provided, such as 3 and 7, intermediate frames 3F, 7F are provided interposed between the respective connecting frames 3D, 3E; 7D, 7E and connected to them by longitudinal cross members (e) of appropriate modular length. The intermediate frames are also U-shaped and have, at the uprights, adjustable feet to rest on the ground.

The uprights (a) of the connection frames 1D, 1E; 3D, 3E; 5D, 5E; 7D, 7E; 9D, 9E have a rectangular or square cross section. The crossbar (b), with a rectangular section, is welded flush with the uprights so as to remain withdrawn from each other in a side view of the frame. The uprights (a) and the crossbar (b) have a multiplicity of through holes, such as (h) and (m) (Fig. 3) for connection to the respective machine and to the frame of the adjacent machine, for example by means of screws with nut .

The modular carpentry system provides various types of connection frames and distinct intermediate frames according to the size of the upright section. According to this criterion, and as schematized in Fig. 5, four types of connecting frames Tl, T2, T3, T4 and three types of intermediate frames R1, R2, R3 are provided. The cross sections of the uprights have a square or rectangular shape with sides equal to a module (s) or its double. In this way it is possible to combine different types of connecting and intermediate frames, maintaining modular steps between the support feet of the frames, and with this also the modularity of the other elements of the system, such as crosspieces (e, b), cladding panels (n, 3T, 5T ...), etc. In this way, it is also possible to apply one or more possible lateral operating units to the packaging line, preserving this characteristic of modularity. For example, on the rectangular base surface indicated by the dotted line 8 in Fig.2, one of these lateral units can be placed, equipped with its own casing structure (shown in indicative line in Figs.2 and 6) obtained with the modular elements of the system; this structure comprises at least one connection frame with uprights 8F, 8E (Fig.6) applied laterally to the frames 7F; 7D, 5E of the line by means of screws and spacers 10.

The uprights (a) of the connection frames 1D, 1E; 3D, 3E; 5D, 5E; 7D, 7E; 9D, 9E extend in height by the same amount beyond the work surface of the various machines, while the uprights of the intermediate frames 3F, 7F are limited between the work surface itself and the respective support foot. On the extension of the uprights (a) of the connection frames 1D, 1E; 3D, 3E; 5D, 5E; 7D, 7E; 9D, 9E are applied by means of screws or joints (not shown in the drawing) respective pairs of extension uprights such as those 1G, IH, IL, 1M (Figs. 5, 6 and 7) connected together by longitudinal crosspieces such as (e) and transverse crosspieces such as (c) to form a structure overlying the lower structure already described, suitable for containing the electrical supply lines, fluid or other, of the various operating machines and any other services. Panels (n) of various intended use (ventilation, lighting, ...) are applied internally to the structure at the lower end of said pairs of extension uprights 1G, IH, IL, 1M to separate the internal environment of the lower structure from that of the upper structure.

Fig.10 shows sound-absorbing infill panels such as IR; 3R; 5N, 5P, 5R, 5S; 7N, 7P, 7R, 7S; 9R (for example in sheet metal), transparent panels such as 3T; 5T; 7T (for example in Plexiglas) for controlling the operation of the respective machines, and control panels such as 5U, 7U.

With this arrangement, each operating machine such as those 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, can be supplied complete with its own lower structure-casing IV, 3V, 5V, 7V, 9V (Fig. 10) and upper 1W, 3W, 5W , 7W, 9W, allowing easy coupling with adjacent machines on the line. These upper and lower structures can be easily decoupled from each other, with considerable advantages in terms of portability and installation. Furthermore, the definition of modular coupling frames between the machines in the line facilitates the design and construction of the machines at different suppliers, eliminating or substantially reducing the problems of interfacing.
