La superficie strutturata, lo distribuisce e in conseguenza le diverse oscillazioni creano una intensa assorbimento. Al posto della superficie strutturata, può essere fissata anche un materiale assorbente pressato, con spessore variabile secondo la necessità d'uso. La forma a sei angoli e' stata scelta, perche e' la più risparmiare di spazio. Tra i singoli elementi delle aperture, rimangono solamente degli spigoli e non delle superfici in piano riflettenti. Con questo sistema , il valore riflettente viene ridotto al minimo e il valore di assorbimento aumentato. Una forma rotonda delle aperture sarebbe svantaggiosa, perche con le superfici tra le due aperture rotonde, il valore riflettente si aumenta e meno suono può entrare all' interno della struttura. Il volume della cavità posteriore e' variabile secondo la necessità d'uso e può essere adeguato a diverse frequenze di suono. Vantaggioso di questa invenzione e<1>la possibilità di costruzione in diversi materiali secondo le pretese d'uso, materiali plastici, materiali plastici rinforzati, alluminio ecc. Un altro vantaggio di questa invenzione e' la numerosa utilizzabilità. Si può usare anche su barriere già esistenti, per aumentare il valore di assorbimento , attualmente non sufficiente, nonché per rivestimento interno delle gallerie.
