CLAIMS 1. Recessed lighting device (10), comprising: - a support structure (10) having an internal compartment (21) accessible from an opening (4), delimited by a bottom wall (30); - a lighting unit (40) housed in the internal compartment (21), comprising lighting means operably connectable to an electric power supply network, a main support (50) which supports said lighting means and hooking and fixing means suitable for hooking said unit to the bottom wall (30) and fixing said unit in a predefined position.

10. Apparatus comprising a lighting device (10) made according to any one of the preceding claims and panels (2) arranged to delimit said opening (4).

11. Apparatus according to claim 10, wherein said panels are made of plasterboard or plastic material.

Apparatus according to claim 10 or 11, wherein said panels constitute a one-piece annular outer structure.
