Come è ben noto, sono molto diffusi i pavimenti in legno realizzati impiegando degli elementi in legno di forma parallelepipeidale, noti con il termine di “listoni”, disposti reciprocamente accostati e che vengono fra loro trattenuti mediante l’incastro di profili sagomati ricavati lungo il perimetro esterno di detti elementi. Come visibile nelle figure, il pavimento si realizza impiegando delle coppie di elementi, indicati rispettivamente con il riferimento 1 e 2, i quali sono muniti, sui due lati, di una profilatura, indicata rispettivamente con i riferimenti 10 e 20, che risulta simmetrica rispetto all’asse di mezzeria, indicato con Y1 e Y2, dei due suddetti elementi e dove la profilatura 10 di un elemento 1 risulta complementare rispetto alla profilatura 20 dell’altro elemento 2 e viceversa, in modo che i due elementi 1 e 2, si possano incastrare reciprocamente, quando sono in posa sul pavimento.
