Viene proposto un motore alternativo a combustione interna che consente un miglior sfruttamento dell'energia erogata; il motore comprende almeno un pistone (5; 53) operativamente connesso ad un albero motore (6) e una testata (7; 54) detta testata (7; 54) è fissata a detto basamento (1; 50) in modo elasticamente cedevole così da assorbire e restituire parte dell'energia sviluppata in fase dì combustione; la testata elasticamente cedevole (7; 54) è formata da almeno un ulteriore pistone (8; 55) scorrevole a tenuta in un cilindro (4; 52), opposto a detto pistone (5; 53), in modo che fra detti pistoni (5, 8; 53, 55) sia compresa una camera di combustione (9, 56).
