Abstract

The present invention relates to cables transmitting low audio and video signals between audio/video devices. The cable comprises an elastic-suspension mechanism by means of a double elastic tubulars heath, the inner of which is fixed on the metal clamp (S) of the terminators (e.g. RCA type) of the cable, and contains the metal conductors (C), which as they have a length larger than that of the inner insulation sheath (P2) move freely, whereas the second elastic tube constitutes the outer sheath (P3), thus any forces applied on the cable are absorbed by the mechanism and not by the conductors. The geometrical features of the conductors remain unchanged and the lifetime of the cable is significantly increased, whereas the initial characteristics and operation specifications of the cable are not deteriorated. Also, the vibrations transmitted through the air as sound pressure, or through the housings of the devices or loudspeakers, to the conductors of the cable are reduced, resulting to a significant reduction in audio feedback during signal transmission.
