Abstract

A pharmaceutical composition for treating burns is embodied in the form of a gel and contains an active substance N-(ß-oxyethyl)-4,6-dimethyldihydropyrimidone-2 (xymedon), As a gel former it comprises salts of sodium biopolymers, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium alginates or the mixture thereof. Besides the composition comprises glycerin in amount of no more than 20 mass%, stabilizer, preservative and distilled water.
