Abstract

962,714. Seed sowing machines. VYZKUMNY USTAV ZEMEDELSKYCH STROJU. Oct. 17, 1962 [Oct. 18, 1961], No. 39351/62. Heading A1D. A seed sowing machine comprises a hopper 9 which feeds seeds into the interior of a wheel 4 which is provided with an interchangeable belt provided with openings for seeds. A stationary member 34 to which is attached a seed hopper 9 is formed with a shield 30, which guides the seed to a feed box 20<SP>1</SP> through an adjustable opening 21. A flexible member 23 presses seeds into the belt 18 and a roller 24 ensures that seeds are fed into the belt. A coulter 7 is provided and the seeds are covered by a press wheel and adjustable wipers.
