Abstract
945,482. Two part couplings. G. W. G. SHRUBSALL. Aug. 25, 1960 [Sept. 2, 1959], No. 29950/59. Heading H2E. An electrical connector has a flexible body 1 with one or more bores 2 through it and metal inserts 14, 15 soldered or crimped to wires 10, 11 are retained by projections 3, 4 in each bore and joined electrically by spring 5. The body may be integral or divided transversely into two halves for easy insertion of the spring by either snap in or bayonet type connectors. The compression spring 5 may be replaced by one or more blade springs.
