934,332. Single-phase induction motors. G. STOLL, [trading as FESTO-MASCHINENFABRIK GOTTLIEB STOLL]. May 25, 1962 [May 26, 1961], No. 20269/62. Addition to 824,898. Class 35. The short-circuited starting coils 41, 42, 51, 52, described in the parent Specification, are replaced by conductors 19, 20, 25, 26, and 21, 22, 23, 24 integrally cast with end-plates 27, 28, respectively. These conductors may lie at the slot-bottoms or in special recesses 29-36 adjoining the bottoms of the slots. Lugs 39 serve to secure the stator end-covers. The castmetal may extend over the periphery of the stack (in suitable recesses) to secure the laminations. Alternatively borings 40 may receive rivets or cast-metal, or may be aligned with lugs 39 to receive fixing bolts.
