927,034. Fireplace frets. RICHARD HAIGHTON Ltd. March 1, 1962 [March 1, 1961], No. 7424/61. Class 126. A fret comprises a cast iron frame 10 with a central opening 12 over which a facia piece is secured. The facia may be cast iron, chromium plated or enamelled sheet steel or chromium plated, enamelled or anodised expanded metal backed by sheet metal. The frame may be stove enamelled and a central screw and nut 22 may be provided as a handle. Combustion air enters through openings 14.
