922,557. Lipstick holders; packaging cosmetics. H. B. ARDEN & CO. (INSTRUMENTS) Ltd. July 1, 1959 [July 10, 1958], No. 22226/58. Classes 18 and 94(1). A machine for moulding lipsticks, eye brow-pencils, suppositories &c. comprises a water-cooled block having a plurality of cavities in which nylon or polythene mould shells 1 are loosely mounted on plungers 3 so as to be ejected after moulding from the machine to form removable covers for the moulded articles. A plastic disc 6 may be provided between each plunger 3 and its shell 1 and the shells, which may be transparent, may be of non-circular cross section at least at their lower ends.
