Abstract
921,364. Floor shuttering; lattice girders. MATERIEL SPECIAL D'ENTREPRISE. Oct. 12, 1959 [Oct. 13, 1958], No. 34526/59. Class 20 (2). Shuttering for casting concrete floors is supported by parallel rows of girders 1 connected by supports 2 supporting adjacent ends of the girders and end supports 4 supporting the ends of the girders. The supports 2 rest on props 3. The girders 1 may be removed, for use elsewhere, leaving the supports 2 in place, before the concrete has completely set. The ends of the girders are locked in the supports 2 and 4 by transverse pins 12, 15, respectively, the outer ends of the end girders being adjustable in the supports 4 by this means. The end supports 4 rest on a post or the like by means of a bracket 17 which is mounted on a pivot and locked by a pin which is removed to allow the bracket to turn upwards and release the shuttering. The girders comprise inverted top channels 5 and side lattice members. The supporting members 2 comprise inverted top channels 6, side plates 7, tie-rods 10 and inverted transverse channels 8 for engaging the braces 9 on the props 3, braces 9 extending transversely of and bracing the rows of girders together. The supporting members 4 are constructed similarly to the supporting members 2. The moulding surface on top of the girders may be extended by planking or a plate having brackets beneath it embracing the girder to which they are locked by a wedge, Fig. 8 (not shown).
