[Also in Groups XXV, XXVIII and XXXVI] A rod-like or tubiform member, e.g. a terminal pin 7, is mounted in a P.T.F.E. grommet 14 in an aperture of a device 5, e.g. a radio component such as a condenser or transformer, so as to compress the grommet 14 and effect a tight seal and has an external groove which lies within the grommet bore for reception of part of the grommet material deformed into the depression. Specifications 641,917 and 786,862 are referred to.
