In a bed-settee, three links 14, 16 and 17 control and co-ordinate the movement of the adjacent sides of the seat frame 12 and the rearwardly lowerable back-rest frame 13. The frames 12 and 13 are slidable on rollers 22 and 23 so that, on conversion, downward pressure on the upper edge of frame 13 slides both frames forwardly and reverses the inclination of links 14 and 16. In the bed position (Fig. 1, not shown) roller 23 enters notch 25 in slot 24. In the seat position link 16 rests on ledge 26.
