A pneumatic tyre cover, for use with or without an inner tube, comprises an outer layer 1 of hard, gas-tight, wear-resistant cross-linked polyurethane, an intermediate layer 2 of polyurethane foam, and a inner layer of soft gastight cross-linked polyurethane the shore hardness of which is within the range 40-60. For tubeless use the axially outer surface of the beads 5 may be formed with rim-sealing lips, and where a particularly hard tread surface is desired, the outer layer 1 may be capped with a tread layer 9 of the desired hardness. The tyre may be made by centrifugal casting, starting with the layer 1, or where used, the layer 9, the subsequent layers being cast thereon in sequence.
