903,807. Temperature-responsive actuating elements. TAYLOR, E. H. April 21, 1961 [April 4, 1960], No. 11825/60. Class 64 (2). [Also in Group XXXVII] A contact-carrying bimetal 1, as in Specification 657,434, is mounted on a member 4 permanently embedded in an insulating block 8. The latter may be moulded around member 4, or can be made from a number of blocks between which member 4 is inserted, the blocks then being fused or adhesively secured together. The block may be of nylon, " Mycolex " (Registered Trade Mark), polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyester or urea-formaldehyde.
