Abstract
895,809. Switch handles. SQUARE D CO. April 25, 1960 [May 28, 1959], No. 14346/60. Class 38 (5). Fine adjustment between the actuating arm 11 and operating shaft 16 of a limit switch is provided by a gearwheel 28 which can be revolved eccentrically by means of a dial member 22 and simultaneously engages two internal gear rings 25 and 26 secured respectively to the shaft 16 and arm 11. The gears 25 and 26 have different numbers of teeth such that rotation of the common meshing eccentric gear 28 causes relative angular movement between them. A screw 17 serves to clamp the disc member 22 and gears after adjustment. Specification 796.111 is referred to.
