Abstract

890,299. Fittings for cases. LATTER & CO. Ltd., A. July 18, 1960 [May 13, 1959], No. 16477/59. Class 18. Complementary packing fittings at opposite ends of a ease for holding in position tins, drums &c. are made from blanks 1, 2 and 3. The blank 3 has four circular sections cut or stamped therefrom and a central section removed by cutting along the lines 5. The apertured blank 3 is then secured to the blank 1. The cross shaped portion 6 removed from the central area of blank 3 is secured to the blank 2 as shown in Fig. 3. The corner pieces 7 are cut from the circular portions removed from blank 3. Cylindrical tins or drums are packed with one end located in an aperture 4 and the other end between the curved sides of portions 6 and 7.
