875,327. Facing tiles. HUSKISSON, M. J. May 20, 1959 [June 16, 1958], No. 19263/58. Class 87(1) [Also in Group IX] A facing or flooring tile comprises a flat rectangular sheet 1 of resilient plastic material having one or more apertured ears 3 projecting beyond one edge and one or more complementary undercut studs 5 on its underside adjacent the opposite edge. Ears 3 are preferably provided on two adjacent edges while the other two edges have studs 5. The underside of the tile may be channelled in two directions at right angles or provided with ribs 7. The tile may be made of vulcanized or unvulcanized natural or synthetic rubber, or polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene polyethylene terephthalate.&c. and may have a pile surface 2 formed integrally or attached to it.
