Abstract

874,211. Inductors. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Jan. 10, 1958 [Jan. 14, 1957], No. 1016/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (2). Waterproof apparatus casings, such as pupincoil casings, comprising a container and cover of moulded insulating material reinforced with glass fibre, are provided with non-reinforced ribs or protuberances externally on at least one of the casing walls the casing being externally coated with a moisture-impervious layer of. non-reinforced synthetic resin which will adhere to the casing. The moulded insulation and outer coating may be polyester resins and a metallic coating may be applied between them. The glass fibres may be strands or fabric.
