Abstract

859,437. Earth-working equipment. MIDWESTERN INDUSTRIES Inc. April 9, 1957 [April 9, 1956], No. 11459/57. Class 68(1). In a shovel excavator a seat structure 44 and a shovel-carrying boom 36 are diametrically secured to a swivel post 32 rotatably carried in a frame 14 secured to a tractor 10. The seat structure comprises a seat 60 welded to a resilient platform in turn welded to plates 50 secured to the post 32. The frame comprises two transverse girders 20 secured to the upper members 18 of independently-adjustable telescopic legs.
