857,808. Extruding plastic materials. NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Dec. 8, 1959 [Nov. 26, 1958], No. 38124/58. Addition to 841,072. Class 87(2). The apparatus of the parent Specification is modified so that the perimeter of the die orifice has a length greater than the circumference of a circular orifice of the same area. Fig. 2 slows a die 10 having seven circular orifices 12, 13 terminating in knife edges 15 in the tapered inlet portion 11 and Fig. 4 shows a single irregularly shaped orifice 21.
