The feed wheel 22 of a machine for wrapping rectangular section toffees &c., 21 has pockets 23 of part circular and part rectilinear outline, the latter engaging the toffees during rotation to align them correctly. The wheel is domed and the toffees retained by a brush or other separating means 26 within the reservoir 25 pass over a portion 27 of the disc to its other side. The toffees may be ejected from the disc by a plunger 30 as shown, or by gravity or other suitable means.
