852,311. Induction pipes. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. March 4, 1959 [March 11, 1958], No. 7570/59. Class 7(2). A stopped resonant pipe 4 is connected to each intake passage 1, the opening 9 connecting the induction pipe or manifold 10 to the resonant pipe being located at a point between the open end 5 of the resonant pipe and its closed end 8. The pipe 4 is formed in two portions 4a, 4b, and the induction manifold 10 is formed integral with the portion 4b.
