Class 108(1) [Also in Group XIV] The joint between the wing 6 and the body 7 of a vehicle is sealed by a metal bead 1 having a corrugated flap 4. The inherent stiffness of the flap allows the bead to be inserted in the joint after assembly of the parts and the bead will withstand paint drying treatments. The bead 1 may have a channel-shaped recess to accommodate a resilient decorative member.
