Classes' 7(2) and 7(6) In combination with a reciprocating I.C. engine, an exhaust-gas turbine, a compressor 18 driven by the turbine nozzles 53 for receiving exhaust gases from the engine and leading them directly to the turbine, a passage 52 into which the nozzles discharge, means for leading air from the compressor to the engine, a diffuser 54 receiving the gases from the passage 52, a chamber is provided to receive the diffuser discharge, which chamber may comprise the turbine inlet chamber. The subject-matter of this Specification is identical with that described in Specification 792,122. Specification 791,232 [Group XXVI] also is referred to.
