790,689. Magnetic separation. HOFF, R. C. April 28, 1955, No. 12334/55. Class 117 A magnetic separator which may be used in floor openings, vertical shoots or hoppers, comprises stainless steel tubes 13 secured to a frame 2-5 and containing permanent magnets 14. A removable protective grid formed of rods 16, 17 is supported above the tubes 13, and wing members 20, 21 may be adjusted to suit the size of the opening or duct in which the separator is to be used.
