Abstract

A refractroy coating comprises a refractory powder agglomerated by butyl titanate in an organic solvent. A solution of 0,5 to 50 per cent concentration of butyl titanate is preferred, and the solution constitutes 20 per cent of the coating. Refractories specified are zircon, silica, mullite and sillimanite.
