Abstract

784,658. Storage racks for barrels and drums. CORBETT & CO., Ltd., R. H. March 14, 1956 [Sept. 27, 1955], No. 27502/55. Class 21. [Also in Group XXX] A storage device for barrels and drums comprises an inclined track 1, Fig. 2, having near its lower end a pivoted V-shaped member 3, 4. One arm 4 has an upstanding stop 6 for a barrel or drum resting on said arm, and the other arm 3 has a stop 5 for the next barrel or drum on the track 1. The lowest drum is lifted over the stop 6 and the V-shaped member 3, 4 is then moved anti-clockwise, Fig. 3, so that the next barrel or drum can roll into position for removal. The V-shaped member may be designed to accommodate more than one drum.
