Classes 20(2) and 20(4) A roof deck is formed of units each comprising a corrugated sheet 4 on a flat sheet 1 which has edges 8, 9 bent at right' angles and bolted to the next units and bent over at 10, 11 in the same direction so that the edge 9 of one unit nests in the edge 8, of the adjacent unit. The units are covered with an insulating sheet 5 and bitument material 6. The edges 8, 9 may be sealed with plastic. The bent edges 10, 11 prevent burning bitumen &c. falling into the building in the event of fire. Specification 700,465 [Group VIII] is referred to.
