In a telescopic front fork, for road vehicles steered by a single front wheel, the two upper tubes 1 of which are connected to the stem tube by crosspieces 2, 3, the upper tubes 1 and the upper crosspiece 2 are held together by nuts 10 and bolts 9 which also serve for the attachment of the handle-bar 8. A head lamp 18 is supported by arms 17 which are mounted on the upper crosspiece 2.
