Class 98(1) A photographic camera 8 has a portion 17 formed for supporting the camera on a shoulder of the photographer, and has a finder device comprising an arm 11 supported by the camera and extending forwardly with its free end 2 located on a boundary of the field of view when the camera is set for obtaining a focused photographic image of an object situated at the same distance from the camera as the end 2, whereby with the camera on his shoulder the photographer may obtain a focused photograph of an object with a desired image size by moving into a position wherein the end 2 of the arm is appropriately spaced above, below or to one side of the object. Controls 13, 14 for operating the film wind and shutter respectively may be mounted in front of the camera, preferably on a U-shaped frame 12 serving as a hand grip.
