Abstract
712,099. Valve generating circuits. DRIES, R. L. Nov. 2, 1951 [Nov. 2, 1950], No. 26758/50. Class 40 (6). [Also in Group XXXV] An oscillatory circuit for feeding H.F. current to a discharge lamp 34 comprises a variable condenser 24 in parallel with the primary winding 19 of a static transformer 20, the combination being connected through another variable condenser 25 to the anode 21 and grid 22 of a valve 23, and the supply of H.T. current, being connected to the cathode of the valve and, through a H.F choke 18 to one end of the parallel combination. Condenser 25 is to vary the H.F. grid current, and the choke 18 and a further choke 27 connected directly to the grid 22 prevent dissipation of the H.F. current in the H.T. circuit. The valve 23 may be of almost any multi-electrode type.
